[question]About the credit on cd

Is the name that besides guitar, programming,bass....in credit part is the person that PLAYED the instrument during recording or the one who COMPOSED the melody of that part?

Also, do the arranger compose all melody of the song(including guitar,keyboard...) or just decide what instruments will be included in the song ?

the name that is credited in the cd booklet is the person who PLAYED it, while the composer is the one who actually created the music. the arranger...well i'm not sure but i suppose they arrange it? lol. :yes

I think the composer (that is, the person who gets the 'music:' credit) creates the melody and the arranger decides which instruments will be used.
