(miss)understood cm
 

Did anyone else notice at the end of this cm, there are two shots of Ayu (covering her mouth, then smiling), exactly the same as the covers of the album?

Do you think these are the same shots taken for the album? It's pretty strange, when she smiles on the cm, it looks the same, but a lot better. I wish the photoshoot for this album was actually a proper photoshoot, not low quality junk...

I'm just wondering why the images are such low quality... they didn't even photoshop it that much. The posters look quite high quality... are they?

Yeah, I noticed that. And also, you see how quick she does the two? It's like, 'Oh, we forgot the cover. We'll just do this in less than five seconds. Ayu, strike a pose. ... Wait, no. Just smile. Good. Now, cover your mouth. K WE'RE DONE THX.'

Thats the point, your supposed to see her doing the covers...

and yeah~~ the covers were just so random and plain, so simple, the pictures were taken just like that

Maybe the images were taken by the same person who took the photos used in the album booklet, or with a cheap camera? That could explain why they're low quality.

Personally I think that all the images for (miss)understood should have been used for MY STORY since the photos for the (miss)understood booklet and covers look like personal home photos put together.

Why would they take the photo album cover with a $10 dollar camera?

I don't see any low quality. Sure, they're simple but I think it's nice that way. It's somewhat refreshing from her covers for "Duty", "I am...", "RAINBOW", and "MY STORY". I do like those covers, but I think it's nice to have a simple cover once in a while.

I think that it is supposed to be that way. Rather than hiding Ayu behind makeup and retouching her photos, she wants to show her real self. She does not want to be "misunderstood" as just being an artist.
...I hope someone understands this.

yea i did notice that the cover is very scratchy....i dont like it...i wanted a shiny pretty one....

Perhaps like chibi_sunny said, it was to show more of the real Ayu, so they might have used a camera that wasn't so professional... I was just offering a possible explanation for the low quality images :shrug

In the HEAVEN bit of the CM, when she's saying "soba ni ite", you can see Ayu mouthing "ite" when she's resting on the guy's shoulder. O_o

In the HEAVEN CM? The HEAVEN CM I have is the one of just Ayu's headshot blowing in the wind...I haven't seen your one then ><

No, you didn't read my post properly. In the HEAVEN bit of the CM. In the (miss)understood CM, STEP you is first played as the BGM. Then fairyland, and then HEAVEN. She says 'ite' during the HEAVEN BGM bit.
