Question about the A single

Which color CD is the most common on the A single? Is it the black one? Because I'm thinking of buying an A single (blue disk) and I want to check to see if it is worth it or not.

immel 5th June 2006 03:49 AM

I didn't know the different colors had different rarity. I think it's the gold disc that's the original, but my memory is fuzzy about where and when I read/heard that, don't trust me on it.

The golden one was released twice with different/shuffled tracklists, one being a bit brighter than the other.

While I'm not sure of the rarity of each colored disc, there was a 24k gold, very limited disk released - that is the rarest one for sure.

The REGULAR gold disc is most common. The rest are pretty much rare.

Really? No wonder they are selling it for $28.21 ! Maybe I should buy that one. How many 24k gold disks were made?

The black is the original, but i think the regular gold is most common... The regular gold was released to celebrate 1 million copies sold, and the 24k gold was released to celebrate 1.5 million copies sold (so there can't be more than 500,000 of the regular gold, or more than 120,000 or so of the 24k gold). I'm not sure how many there are of each of the other colors, but i know the black is more common than all the other colors.

so which is more common? :(

immel 5th June 2006 02:07 PM

He said that Gold is the most common and that black is the more common among the other colors.

darkswordz 5th June 2006 02:31 PM

so gold is the most common, followed by the black 1?

Norrel 5th June 2006 02:40 PM

Uh... sure.

Gold is the most common out of all of them.

But out of all the other colors EXCLUDING regular gold, (Red, Green, Blue..) black is the most common.

darkswordz 5th June 2006 02:52 PM

thanks alot :D

Delirium-Zer0 5th June 2006 03:06 PM

Sorry, the wording there was weird... yes, i meant black is more common than the pink, orange, green, and blue ones. :P

I wonder how much the 24k gold one is selling for. I'd love to own that version.
