[Thoughts] Beautiful Fighters PV
It reminds me something (I feel kinda like ANGEL'S SONG) when I see ayu works as cashiers in this PV.I laughed when I saw this PV.But I like this PV more than BLUE BIRD,but both are not my favourite ayu PVs.I just choose one better.

this PV is funny and nice!
To me, i think what she is saying is that women make silly mistakes but they are nonetheless...Stars?...dunno how to say.. I just find it very entertaining...NICE WORK As for the song...its a new style funky a bit retro feel...its really cool of her to change styles once in a while...She did say she is experimenting now....LOVE THE SONG TOO |
I thought the song was horrible and the PV even worse. Well, I was right about Ayu dancing with female backup dancers. That wasn't so hard to predict. The PV was very American >.> The song is probably the cheesiest yet. It sounded like some bad anime theme song, and I bet no one would care about the song if it was sung by someone else other than Ayumi. 2006 is a really bad year for her so far.
If she stopped making music right now, I would be happy. |
Although I don't really like "cutesy" PVs, this one was funny and nice!
It has such a nice message!! Its showing how when you work hard you get rewarded And all the people at the end were cheering for them because they worked so hard despite the hard times :) |

Does she sing "It's time for girls" all the time in the song? BTW, this is not what I expect .. PLEASE AYU.... |

@Larisa-chan...Ayu need not stop making music...but u may stop being her fan,..srry k...a bit harsh But we cant expect AYu to follow what we want...we all expected it tto be rock but now its disco-funk...so wad?...Souldn't we give her room to explore?...can't expect her to stick to rock, ballad and upbeat pop everytime right?....Then wouldnt it be so predictable...i think that way, people lose interest faster and if u implant in you that "Ayu...2006...goner"...u will develop this feeling more and more...and then Ayu is just outta your mind |
...I like the song. I really do. I think it's sweet and catchy.
But the pv sucks. .__. I wanted to skip through it, but didn't. All I really saw was her sitting on a car and random people messing up stuff. It's sort of entertaining, but that's it. I like BLUE BIRD more. |
I'm not really a fan of the video. Even though Ayumi looked really adorable as the register girl, I was just not feeling the entire production. I'm even going to admit that I liked the BLUE BIRD PV more than this one. Both themes (fun/beach and women working hard to be respected) are themes that Ayumi has already done in a short time, so it wasn't really anything new.

I didn't like the PV. I like the song because it's catchy, and it makes me laugh when I hear her distorted english upon saying "It's beautiful fighters" (atleast that's what I think she's saying).
The PV...well, it has a good message...sort of. At first, I thought it was just depicting how everyone has a first job and there are always going to be mess ups and all that. But when I saw the girls in their flashy cars, that was a real turn off. It reminded me too much of paris hilton and the socialite stuff. Annoying as hell. As for Ayumi and her little cash register deal, she needs to be cute in her own way. Doing that stupid crap where she's like, "omg a bag of cookies, amazing! Oh my god, Cheetoes! Look!" is annoying as **** That PV, in my opinion, was a bag of dumb. BLUE BIRD was 10 times better than that, even if it was bland. Oh well, I like both the songs, just not so much the PVs. It is the song that counts anyways. |

I think the PV is cute. :) It didn't really blow me away, but at least I like this PV more than Blue Bird's PV.
As for the song itself, I'm not sure what my exact feelings are at this point. I really wanted to love this song, but I didn't have that strong of a reaction to it when I heard the whole thing. I'm not sure if I prefer this song to Blue Bird or not or if I think they are both about the same quality. But literally, when the song started, I thought it was a joke - like someone had made a fake Ayu track. Quote:

i thought it was kinnnda funny. but nice at the same time!

I liked it better than Blue Bird. It was cute and funny.
But the car scenes reminded me of this one Mariah Carey video from a long time ago, where she's sitting on top of a flashy race car in the same kind of bodysuit. And the overall theme reminded me of Utada Hikaru's "Keep Tryin'" video, where Utada does lots of mundane jobs. Also the song....is really not good...I did not expect that goofy sounding voice manipulation throughout. Somehow it grew on me a little...but the rest of it, especially the chorus, just does not appeal to me at all. Since Blue Bird is only "okay" in my book, this 40th single has turned out to be a dud. =/ Quote:

Among the two PVs for the new single, I'd have to pick this one. It's cute, funny, and the chorus is catchier. ^^
I can imagine myself humming the chorus while at work. <.< >.> |

I really think she is saying "It's fighter woman". The second word she says is quite clearly "fighter".

:D
I think it's nice. Could've been better, but was nice. The song itself is nifty~ she's never really done anything like this before [>>] xD Single must buy now plz. :> |
When I first played the video, I thought of that Heartsdales video. But it's cuter. The performance sequence reminds me of the Fanta girls for some reason. Probably just because of the color-coded girls. The video isn't the worst thing ever. It's consistently comical, unlike "Startin'," which was all over the map with its story.
And I like the song -- it's different for Ayu, like much of her stuff lately, but it sounds more suitable somehow. It's a total cheerleader song, which is a lot of fun, without being sugary cute and sweet and lame-o. It's got tude and drive behind it, instead of being wimpy and soft. I love the arrangement, too, although the beat is a little straight. I still wish Ayu could dance, though. I hate that old-school Japanese-style of dancing, where you move slowly to the music and basically just strike cute, happy poses. It's like slow-mo parapara, and it's painful to watch. |
