浜崎あゆみソロ史上初！シングル２０００万枚突破
歌手、浜崎あゆみ（２７）が２１日に発売した通算４０枚目のシングル「ＢＬＵＥ　ＢＩＲＤ」が発売１週目で １６．１万枚のセールスを記録、ソロアーティストとしては史上初のシングル総売り上げ２０００万枚突破の快 挙を成し遂げた。

これまでシングルで総売り上げ２０００万枚突破を果たしたのは、Ｂ’ｚ、サザンオールスターズ、Ｍｒ．Ｃｈ ｉｌｄｒｅｎ、ＳＭＡＰの４組のみで、女性アーティストとしても初の快挙。

また、今作で浜崎のシングル首位は、平成１４年の「Ｆｒｅｅ＆Ｅａｓｙ」から１５作連続、通算２７作目とな り、自身の持つ女性アーティストのシングル首位獲得数記録も更新した。

Moreover, Hamasaki's single head position became totaling 27 work eyes, and updated own female artist's single head position acquisition number record from "Free&Easy" in 2002 by 15 continuous works in the work now.

It seems that BLUE BIRD has sold 161,000 copies.. yay! I hope it does just as good the 2nd week.. :3

I just hope the sales can be maintained / drop at a steady rate for at least another 4 weeks.. :]

WoW! First solo female to have 20 million in singles?!! We should send this to Guinness World Records. Hikaru Utada & Koda Kumi are on there. She should be too!

shoulden't she be already? She's the most selling female solo artist in asia... Utada has the best selling album, but what record did koda set?

So in summary...

- "BLUE BIRD" sold 161,000 copies on it's first week. (That is extremely good!)
- All her singles together surpassed 20 millions copies sold.
- "BLUE BIRD" is her 27th #1 single.

Also with her new single 4 hot wave, she has a record for 4 a sides & 4 PVs in one single.

What I don't understand is that how come (miss)understood sold so low when it had two photo albums, while BLUE BIRD had only a poster and sold really well. Isn't a photo album much better than a poster?

After all, in the first 'two weeks', (m)u sold 630k[I think] :D:D It probably didn't sell too much for a lot of different reasons..
