MP3 Edit?
 

I downloaded the A ballads, and How can I remove the Ticking Noise? Do I have to Edit it?:confused

buy CD...... so no ticking sounds......by the way, I have all the tracks encoded without the ticks.....

I'm not sure if it's even possible to edit out the ticks. Just try to go on WinMX or IRC or something and downloaded a better version of the MP3. I'm sure you'll fine better rips of the song on there. It'd be much easier just to download a different MP3 of it, rather than try to take the ticks out.

I've noticed when dowloading RAINBOW album with Music Match that there were no ticking noices in the the few songs I got from it. I guess it depends on the software your using??

Well, yes, most programs have embedded functions that helps to reduce background noises, file skipping and general distorsion, so you're probably right!

Music Match is pretty good in that way, that's what I hated about Winamp when I started using that instead, the choices are so limited. But then again, you get what you (don't) pay for.

Well, Theres only ticking sounds on Rainbow and the last track.
I dont have problems with the rest though.

maybe they purposely create those irritating "ticks"........ my Tr 1 and 14 do not have such ticks at all...

How'd you get good quality mp3s of A Ballads?? doesnt Its has some sort of anti-ripping/cd copying software on it or something. I cant rip songs from my Rainbow CD because it has that annoying protection software...

I just thought of this stupid idea...
I think other people use Microsoft Wav recorder to record it from the cd player/rom... i just noticed that some of the rainbow mp3s that i got have no Left or Right (Mono)...
come to think of it i used the same method back then where there were no ripping softwares! ---Stupid...

i think u have to have those big sound editing machines where u can focus on the ticks... :shrug

There are many ways around the CCCD protection. Many people have figured out how to rip them without any problems at all. There are some programs out there that can rip them no problem, and all Macs can rip them easily as well. Some people here probably know which Windows programs will rip the CDs, so if you guys know the names, please post them for Cens. :)
