Know where to find "I Am..." with extralarge obi?
 

I've held them in my hands at two Kinokuniyas but they were selling it for like $37!!! GRRRR And then with the sale at play-asia, I saw it for $20 and thought that wasn't too bad...so I emailed them and they said it wasn't first-press GRRRR x2. Does anyone know where I can get it for a decent price? cdjapan's $26 is a little ridiculous to me, seeing as how it came out bloody four years ago. Gah stupid obis...I'm waiting on a used copy to go down in price to $7 but it has no obi, of course. (Seeing as how I got Rainbow for $7 used.) Obi's really get me frustrated because the used cds I buy hardly have any. I don't wanna buy another whole set damn it!

i got the overseas version of I am... from yesasia and it came with the huge obi lol it was like 17.99 i think

I got 2 copies also from yesasia overseas, and also extra-large obi.. so... xD we can say that they ALL come with large obis then =)

I'm sorry to interrupt in your topic, but may I ask what this extralarge obi is? What's the difference between the regular obis?

the obi on i am... extended to cover like the entire back cover.

Aw dang it, how about Japanese version? lol I like Japanese versions...I'm studying Japanese so there's actually a practical difference for me. Sorry I forgot to mention I was looking for the Japanese version...

I'd also like to have more information on where to obtain the J-versions with the oversized OBI.

I ordered my I am.. album from yesasia on March 2006. It was the Japan version and I winded up getting the extra large obi. I always thought it was "normal" ^.^;;

Does anyone know whether first-press = extra-large obi, explicitly?

I just ordered I am... from Yesasia 3 weeks ago and it came with the extra large obi.

Maybe you can request to get the JP I am... First Press from Yesasia. Like put in a comment or something.

its a regular thing.. no first press. you can get it with any version

It's a regular thing? really? What's up with the ones with the normal obi size then? I have heard on this forum that the extra-large is more common for some reason.

bought i am japanese version one year ago from yesasia and i got the small/regular obi. ordering from yesasia would hence be risky if you really want the big obi thing.
