ok ok ok we all no Ayu has a mom and her dad left when she was little.then her grandmother came to stay with her and her mother.her mother was a hard worker and all and then ive been wondering this a few times already...does Ayu have any brothers or sisters??on a bunch or posts and other fourms say she does not bbbuuuuttt on her information life story kinda things say something like this

It had like a lot of 'fake' made-up information about Ayu.. I think that the TIME article has more accurate descriptions of herself since she is the one saying those things..

SHE HAS NO SIBLINGS. Her father left when she was like, 3, and her mom/grandma are all she had left. Her grandmother died the day of the recording of poker face and her mother's still in Tokyo. :]

Yea...she talked about how her grandma died the day of the poker face recording on the NTV 2004 interview...that was such a touching interview <tear>. If you want to get to know her a little better, watching the 2000 and the 2004 interviews would be good.

anyway, Ayumi has no other siblings as far as we know. But as stated before she's got close ties with her team and fans. :D I thought it was cool how she had her whole team sing with her in + (I didn't know, I just thought it was random chorus, but it was sweet :))

Actually the NTV2000 links are still good, no? Besides, reviving it is better than making a new thread for request... yea the mu links are still good because it wasn't updated that long ago. It's just stupid sendspace.

Oh and I love +. Seems like a lot of people don't, but it's just that one part that really gets me inside, where she goes "yaaaaaayyyyyy :D." If I ever wanna cheer up, I just gotta listen to independent+ lol.

^I love + because it has a certain unity to it, because different people are singing in the chorus than ayu and it makes it special. its like a double whammy too, expanded from Independent which was awesome. I love the "la la la la la la la lala" :yes

I wonder if her father is even alive..

I mean, she doesn't really care.. but it'd be odd to be like "Wow! That's my daughter o______o" unless her mom went under a last-name change after the divorce.. [her mom's name is Mariko btw]
