Unable to view Forum Index

whenever I try to view the forum index I'm redirected to: http://turksecurity.org/. what's up with that?

Risky Lotus 3rd September 2006 09:16 AM

I was just about to post something about this. I'm having the same error. My friend also checked it and it did the same thing to him too.

Edit: It's not doing it right at this instant now...

xiaou-xijiang 3rd September 2006 09:17 AM

I can see the index now though. Maybe it was just a glitch? I'll see if it happens again.

HanabiChick 3rd September 2006 09:28 AM

I got that too - I managed to get in here through a link at last.fm AHS group to a person's profile, then clicked the index link.

Edit: saw a weird thread in fan sites with that site in the title - could be that causing this, I didn't look in it just in case.

immel 3rd September 2006 12:26 PM

Do you people use firefox or explorer?

Cyria 3rd September 2006 12:38 PM

Thanks for pointing out the odd thread in Fan Sites, HanabiChick. This happened to me earlier and then stopped, but I didn't figure out what was causing it.

I'm using IE.

edit: and... now it's happening again.

ayu1m 3rd September 2006 12:47 PM

Does the same thing with me..

I'm using ff. It says in the türkish website "..PHP HTML Haberler Hack" so I think they've hacked ahs somehow..

immel 3rd September 2006 12:51 PM

I've been updating the index page quite frequently, but it never happened to me yet. Maybe thanks to NoScript?

It's that code that's causing browsers to redirect to that site. Whoever it is noticed the first thread was gone, so posted the code again. Looks like they're probably going to keep posting it.

micster 3rd September 2006 04:20 PM

Then they need an IP ban

After doing research i found that Turksecurity are people who hack forums. If AHS is too complicated then there hack is to just redirect

Corybobory 3rd September 2006 05:08 PM

Mods are looking into it.

nmskalmn 3rd September 2006 05:43 PM

It hasn't hapened to me yet.

Does it go away once those spam threads are deleted or does it happen even if it's not there?

Okay

If the topic is one of the last 5 updated or the latest topic updated in a forum then you will be transferred but if there deleted then its ok

Again. Doesn't effect me, but is there any way to stop it because a lot of people seem to be redirected by this.

It's already fixed. Idiots putting scripts into thread titles should no longer affect AHS.

immel 5th September 2006 11:50 AM

That's great, is the problem something that could be explained easily? Because I'm a bit curious about what was the cause of those scripts actually having an effect.

Thanks for all your continuous great work on this page, I love this place so much ._.

bulmasman 5th September 2006 12:10 PM

I've seen this hack happen to an Aya Ueto forum, it seemed to basically destroy the community since nobody could log on etc... I wasn't effected by AHS attack though, and i see it was dealt with fast :D
