Ashlee Nicole Simpson (born October 3, 1984) is an American pop rock singer–songwriter and an occasional actress. She is the sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson. Simpson rose to prominence in mid-2004 through the success of her number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show. Simpson received widespread derision when she used a pre-recorded vocal track for a performance on Saturday Night Live in October 2004. Following a North American concert tour and an unsuccessful film appearance, Simpson released a second number-one album, I Am Me, in late 2005.

I don't understand why everyone thinks her sister is hotter.. I honestly think Ashley's better looking than Jessica (in fact, I don't think Jessica's all that pretty but whatever). Except not anymore now that her hair's blonde again & she got plastic surgery. Now she just looks like a clone of Jessica. >_>

I don't really listen to her much but I have to admit her songs are pretty catchy and I really like "La La".

I love her a lot. So far I've got the Pieces Of Me and Shadow singles, plus the I Am Me album.

Shadow is my fave song, it's so beautiful. Coming Back For More too. I don't like the Autobiography album tracks, they're pretty weak.

I am a new fan of Ashlee.I used to always prefer Jess but not anymore.Ashlee's songs are so catchy and she is looking so good now.

Meh. She's... okay. A bit obnoxious. I... don't like the Simpson family much at all.

Hmm... this thread hasn't been posted in for ages xD

Just thought that I'd post something kinda confusing about her new album.

CDJapan just emailed me saying that her new album will be "Color Outside the Lines" (but that the title is subject to change) and will be released March 19, 2008 (So I'm guessing this is the Japan Edition)...

On Amazon however, it has the same title but a February 19, 2008 release date (and the one from Amazon says IMPORT)

Now the dates have me confused ... and why 'IMPORT'?
