I like her songs "Goodies" and "1,2 step" and i'm going to buy this album for sure. She still reminds me of Janet Jackson and Aaliyah though.

It's funny seeing pictures of her and her boyfriend, she has like twice as much muscle, lol.

I super love 1,2, STEP and even bought the single and memorized the lyrics. Goodies is nice. Get Up is tedious. D: I dunno, her sound isn't changing. It's still the same wobbly baking tray effects.

"Promise" is definitely her best single yet. I love me some Prince, and she does pretty well on the track. And the video is too hot. Especially the part with the microphone. I have really enjoyed both this and "Get Up" so this album is a must for me :D

I... was not a fan of the ALBUM Goodies, but I did like the song. The album itself was... meh, with a few good tracks. Ciara doesn't have a good voice, really, so she needs great production to carry her - and for the love of god, don't do ballads you CAN'T tackle.

I wasn't wild about Promise, although it might be because of the video - which was the first time I heard it. And I was distracted by how AWFUL she looked in it. I'm sorry, I just find her unattractive. But! Since I listen to the music, I'll use that as my judging grounds when I give the mp3 a listen.

I want to like the finished product, but... I dunno. We'll see.

Can't be worse than Monica's new album. It already has a better cover and a less-offensive lead single (haven't heard Get Up, either).

Not just that, but her hair looks bad, her face is... something about it is off, mannish, and this may sound strange, but her ass looked really LONG and gross in the video too.

The mic part would've been cooler if I could bear to look at her.

But... not just that, but just... she had like the ass of a fifty-something soccer mom. You know? It was kind of like... just... it was REALLY LONG. It looked like half of a teardrop. I dunno. Who has an ass that long?

It was also the front too - maybe her pants were up a little too high? Because her crotch/pelvic area also looked really elongated to me.

Like I said, she had this kind of old lady look going on around that area. But her body just looked gross.

It was the type of pants she was wearing. Kelis was wearing similar one's in the "Bossy" video. They we're popular backing the 50-60's I think. They didn't need to be brought back :grumpy

I thought she look gorgeous in the video. Nothing like her "Oh" video (she looked like a straight up dude when she was on top of the car). She's not a conventional beauty. But her legs are crazy hot.

I think her torso is pretty long-looking. I noticed that in the "Get Up" video.

I haven't, but I'll try to find it later and give it a listen. It must have been good. o.o

I like this new song , but the problem is that Ciara isn't really a talented singer at all & she doesn't have a captivating presense or charisma to make up for it. The new video & her look is very stylish but she still just comes across a bit bland & uninteresting.

I'm sure despite this the new album will have some good material & I'll check it out , but the next US R'n'B release I'm really excited about is Nicole Scherzingers upcoming solo album :D

Exactly. The song is good because of the production. Strange thing is? Ciara's voice reminds me a LOT of Aaliyah's somehow, yet Aaliyah's voice somehow seems miles better to me (not as breathy, a bit deeper, a bit stronger... okay, now I know why). Ciara is personality-less and doesn't really have an It factor. She's more or less a generic R&B singer who throws in crunk for good measure.

Make sure you don't get that confused with the new PussyCat Dolls album.

Speaking of which... sheeeeeeeeeesh. What's the point? She may as well just... do that with the new PCD album. Unless they let the other girls sing and lead more. That would rule.

I really like most of Goodies so when this comes out, I'm definitely giving it a chance.
