Can anybody explain me... who recieve it? it's free?

As I know radio Stations and perhaps record stores recive this.

Place likes ebay or Yahoo! JP Auctions may have the promos up for auction sometimes. I have seen a few promotional CDs being sold on ebay (although I was not sure if they were legit or not :shrug)

Promo CD is a CD contains new songs, remixes and it is used for promotion purposes only. And yes it's free, records companies usually send the promo to radio and TV stations, some music newspapers (to write reviews) and distributors.

I was thinking of buying some back when I bought stuff, because they're quite rare and can contain earlier mixes of the songs, not the finished versions.

For example like that. Panasonic might get a promo CD to use for their CMs.

promo cds are cds that are given away free to radio stations, magazines, newspapers etc in order to promote the cd
