Just wondering if anyone tried doing this:

Playing the whole secret album in order but take out the 4 single tracks. Does anyone feel the album flows better that way? I thought from not yet to until that day...to 1 love was really good...and so does the other songs one after the other.

I realised after listening to the whole album including the single tracks, how much I dont like the single tracks. I mean before hearing the whole album...I thought the single tracks were ok....(compared to b&d) but hearing them with the album tracks, they stood out and they dont fit the album. I still like born to be coz it reminds me of the awesome arena tour opening.

Yes I have tried it but I don't agree with you.

Startin' is a nice song to get the album "started" I feel, and I also enjoy the Triple B's :) . The album would be very boring if all the upbeat songs were rock.

i occassionally skip the 3 B's, startin' is quite good there, i sometimes skip it...i usually do that all all single songs from her previuos albums anyways

What I wanna try is rearranging the order of the tracks, keeping all of them (even the two I'm not crazy about) in. I wanna try and section things off, make it flow from light to dark or dark to light - whichever. Just not the.... jarring, crazy way it's arranged now.

Besides, I LOVE the B's.

I've only taken out BTB... and BF, I quite like it that way, though I would prefer taskinst lead into kiss o' kill than BLUE BIRD, for me that would be a better transition. Might rearrange it that way :yes

I deleted BTB, BF, BB and Startin' at the very beginning, imho they just don't fit this album. At first I though I don't want listen to them because I know them well but in fact they really mar the album (it's just my opinion, of course)

I removed Startin' BB, BF and BTB almost immediately after starting to listen to it.

Been hearing them too much already. taskinst makes an awesome interlude for kiss o' kill.

I don't think the problem of bad flow is nearly as bad on this album as it was on (m)u, and I think they did a good job fitting in the singles. But it does flow better after removing the 3 Bs, even though I really enjoy some of them. Startin' fits the album perfectly though IMO.

jeffycue 29th November 2006 03:13 PM

just skip BF and everything is perfect! bwahahaha!

I like Startin as a song... just dislike the vid.. so i dont want the vid..
beautiful fighters is cute.. and born to be free isnt bad..
just dont like Fairyland II ... oh.. i mean Blue Bird.. so its the only song i skip.. for now..
I know i'll get over the blech of it....

You know.. at one time i hated INSPIRE.. mainly because the vid was terrible (imo) the first 3 times i watched it.. so for a long time i didnt like it..
then i saw it on AT05.. and.. WOW.. I fell inlove with it... but before that i really did LOVE the remix.. hmmm

Terri 29th November 2006 04:56 PM

I haven't tried that, but I do tend to skip Blue Bird for some strange reason :P

alternarist 30th November 2006 01:02 AM

i haven try that too.. but in my opinion, lumping Born To Be..., Beautiful Fighters and BLUE BIRD together will bore me to death almost instantly..

I love the 3B's on their OWN. Like NOT in any track order. When they pop up on my random playlist I'm like "ahhh yeah!". On the album, they fail really bad.

This is a plus for ayu's album though! I've never loved every single album track (+ 1 single track). 'Startin'' can stay where it is, because it just keeps the energy going.

Nu-NRG 30th November 2006 01:30 AM

I totally agree with ya, whenever the Bs start playing, I had to skip them...it sounds not right with them in there but I think Startin' fits perfectly in the album though.

Kesteral 30th November 2006 08:47 AM

When I downloaded it I skipped all the singles (except for BF) because I already had them on my computer. I have yet to listen to the WHOLE album from start to finish, just the album tracks, and I really like it this way. When I eventually buy the cd I think it's going to be weird to hear it with the singles ...
