[Question] When will the posting game forum be reinstalled??

most of us, including me, have missed the game threads and whatnot...was it because it was slowing the server down that it got removed? is it ever gonne come back? does anyone care?!

The posting games forum was removed due to the heavy load on the server, and because of that we're unsure when it will be back up. We don't want to bring it back only for the server to die again.

We are not sure about that; just see how things go for now. Posting Games are closed until further notice.

haha so funny.. we are jus plain waiting for nothing to happen. if we dont start the posting game forum back, we will not know if the forum will die.. so are we waiting for the forum to die? hmm.. lol

You can, but it's very hard.

I suggest we don't bring it back since it's worthless and it only encourages people to use the forums as a chatroom. The forums feel perfect now even without the Posting Games stuff.

I don't think it's necesary either. Do we really need a thread where people post words that rhyme, or post what they eat every 5 mins? o_o

I never even knew why forums had those type of games until I came to Ayumi forums. They're a bit weird, and well, useless. At least discussions in the Chat Room or something, are more productive.

Doesn't this forum supposably encourage chatting?

From previous pronunciations of some staff member(s?) I think they rather discourage chatting, as the board is mainly about Ayumi and the Chat Boards sort of exist because at the moment the server has the capability to handle more than only the Ayumi part of the board. The good thing with the chat room, and other off topic parts of the board, is that it will make people stay and gives people the opportunity to get to know each other. The larger and the friendlier and the more inviting and open a board is, the more people will stick around to read and report about Ayumi.

I'm an extremist, so my views are usually one way all the way or nothing at all.

If chatting will just lead to the trash can they should completely eliminate the chat rooms/off-topic sections because they are pointless. It just sounds ridiculous, to be honest. No chatting in the chat room.

Plus, it can make whatever server situations they are facing easier.

At ahs, we are not extremists, in fact, I think thats what the whole koda crap was about these past couple of days...

I like our current situation, if the server could handle it, bring back the games, if not. Don't. I can live with or without them, I think we all can. But it's definitly part of ahs, if we can bring it back, yay.
