A-block seats FC only?

If I buy A-block concert seats (A1, A2, etc) from auction or something, will I be required to show a fanclub pass or are they only sold to fanclub members but can be used by whoever?

You know, just in case I feel like splurging and fronting a lot of money for tickets. ^_^;;

truehappiness 26th January 2007 04:48 AM

Well, they're sold to FC members, but a lot of them resell on Y!J Auctions for high high prices.

You wouldn't need any sort of club identification, since tickets are tickets :|

Aleema 26th January 2007 05:00 AM

Well, that's not necessarily true for other artists. I know plenty of Japanese artists that require FC identification, or have their names printed right on the ticket. In that case, tickets aren't just tickets. =P I didn't know the protocol for Ayumi, so thanks for clearing it up.

yatsuda 26th January 2007 06:38 AM

No need for identification. The only time I was asked to show ID was for the T.A. Live tour... but it was limited to the T.A. members.

Ah, A block seats... this year's seat isn't as good as last year's... I'll be sitting in Arena B3 section of Super Saitama Arena. 200-level seat tickets are going for insane prices on Yahoo Japan Auctions!!!

sexysaucestar 26th January 2007 05:39 PM

No, you will not be required to show a fanclub pass.

Best of luck with your ticket purchase; wish I had the time and money to go to this year's tour.

I was worried about the same thing when I went, but no, you do not have to.

I really hope she doesn't start with it any time soon, or ever.

Thanks for your help, guys! I'm really looking forward to the concert, now that I know I can get A-block seats. ^__^

How much are they usually? Around $700? I am planning on going next summer and I want THE BEST SEATS POSSIBLE! Front row would be great and I don't care how much they are! What is the closest I could get and how much money? $1000?

Aleema 27th January 2007 05:30 AM

Front row tickets to just about anything is rare to find up for sale because the people who got them feel just the way you do. However, A-block seats can go for, at most, $500 per ticket, but usually $200-300 (even less for A1 or A7) for really good seats. But those are just prices I'm seeing personally, and they're based on gamble tickets (not sure where you'll end up in a certain block).

For front row? IF anyone sells their tickets (I've never seen front row at any of the resale shops) then I'd say expect to pay $2000. Possibly even more.

immel 27th January 2007 06:31 AM

I have never seen them either, but I think that SunshineSlayers estimation is correct.

yaten 27th January 2007 06:57 AM

Yeah, that and front-row tickets REALLY aren't all they're cracked up to be. Ideally, you want to be 10 or so rows back...even the front of the B tickets would be prime real estate. If the stage was lower, then yeah, front row would be amazing, but it's far too high up for those seats to be justified by the cost.

And if you don't mind my asking yatsu-chan, how much did you have to pay for those tickets? I really want to try to go to that show at that venue, so it's be good to know e.e

yatsuda 28th January 2007 04:48 AM

Yaten, I've seen REALLY good front row tickets going for 80 000 yen. That's a few days ago at Yahoo Japan Auctions. Crazy what some people will pay to see Ayu!!!

Last year I was front row at Yoyogi. And I had a GREAT view of Ayu and Yocchan (was right in front of him, LOL!). I think I had the best view of the concert!!! The only times I couldn't see Ayu well was when she was on the er... catwalk thing?

The tickets are 7800 yen, or 8100 yen (there's a 300 yen fee when using the Ticket PIA machines at Family Mart).

Yaten, summertime? Too bad you can't come March 10th...

Aleema 28th January 2007 05:01 AM

I'm grabbing a ticket for March 11th myself. Though, the best seats are usually sold in pairs. If someone wants to go together, we can split the price. ^_^;

yatsuda 28th January 2007 05:03 AM

Not going on the 10th...?

No, I'm arriving in Japan on the 10th, so it's a bit too early to rush to a concert. xD

JinHamasaki 28th January 2007 07:18 PM

I'm thinking about going on the 11th with 2 of my friends too (who have never even heard of Ayu) :p

That's only about $658 US! Awesome!

yatsuda 29th January 2007 02:44 AM

Ah, Aleema, I see. I would be way too tired to go see a concert if I arrived in Japan after a long flight. LOL, looks like I'll be going to Ayu's concert alone, unless my husband can find co-workers who want to go with me!

immel 29th January 2007 03:25 PM

^Or you can pay me my flight tickets XD.

I think I'll be missing out on AT07, and after AT06 my intentions was to do everything to keep on going to Ayu lives, but plans truly have a tendency change.
