What is the *firstpress* thing of A BEST 2?

So... why is it first press?

It.s not the new song, cause it also comes in the regular CD version. So is it because it comes boxed? slipcase? or what does the black case means?

^ The answer seems a little confusing. It sounds like they are saying that the DVD for the first press and the regular press will be different. Or that the White DVD and the Black DVD are not the same (which we already knew).

minkAYuko 27th January 2007 02:38 AM

yeah more confusing u_u

sakamoko 27th January 2007 03:09 AM

I think firstpress = limited. "(miss)understood" with photobook was firstpress edition.

Melting_Holidays 27th January 2007 03:18 AM

They meant that White and Black are different.

The jewel case will be colored just like her Fly high and Kanariya singles.

Let's just hope we get a Booklet.

That's probably what they mean.

The actual plastic on the jewel case itself will be black on the black version. That's what "black color case" means. The plastic on the white verison, likewise, will be black. Like how the cases for ayu-mi-x II's first press version had glitter embedded in it, the plastic on hitomi's SELF PORTRAIT was that kinda neon yellow color, that kind of thing.

As far as I could gather from reading about it, the DVDs aren't a first-press thing. Neither one. The only first-press bonus is differently colored plastic than we're used to. Everything else will be retained for later pressings.

I wouldn't worry about getting a first-press version in time to catch them. In ayu's history, I don't think I've seen a single CD where the first-press was more rare than the regular pressing. It's like, the "regular" pressing that shows up later is CRAZY hard to find.
