A Little Help Please......

For starters i hope this is in the correct section.

Well ive recently been introduced to Ayumi's music and i think it is really good. I'm from the UK and im not totally sure where i can buy copies of Ayumi's music from. Ive had to download the music for now, but i plan on buying the albums.

Ive also noticed her released are like CD, CD + DVD, CD + 2DVD. Which ones will i get the most value from? id like the CD, but if it's available with a DVD even better, but then 2 DVD's? do they all contain differant things?

Any help i would really aprechiete :D

oky no this is enquires I think but to answer this..... you can buy best by papyal on:

yesasia.com
playasia.com

for credit card use bets:

cdjapan.jp

anyways....the CD is just CD the Cd+DVD (starte with Moments single) mostly has the PVs of the singles and some album tracks...and A BEST 2 is the only one iwth 2DVDs because it has as special gimmick a concert footage on the second DVD

Ahh right thank you for this help :D

Could you possibly tell me which albums came in a CD+DVD set? :D or did all of them come as one?

*edit*

I also see on yesasia.com that beside some things it says (Korean Version), (Japan Version) etc! is there any differances in the CD + DVD contents?

Azmaria 7th February 2007 05:23 PM

the CD+DVDs started to release since Memorial Address, so all albums from Memorial Address are CD and CD+DVD
and the only difference in the Korean and Japan version would be the region of the DVD, would buy the Japan version since it has region 2 like Europe even though it is also a bit more expensive

SHEFFIELD!

:D

I buy my CD+DVD's from cdjapan as it's the most reliable site i've come across.
Yesasia is cheaper (sometimes) but are not always trustworthy.

For the difference between Overseas and Japan versions, go here.

The only Ayumi release with 2 DVD's is currently the coming A BEST 2, and it is only going to be released in CD and CD+2 DVD. So don't worry about the CD + 2 DVD thing.

It is only up to you if you think the CD+DVD ones is worth it, you'll have to judge by looking at the price and comparing the contents. The contents of the CD is always the same in both CD and CD+DVD editions.

The easiest way to buy Ayumi media is if you own a credit card, like for example VISA, then I advice you to go to the previously mentioned pages www.yesasia.com or www.cdjapan.co.jp. Another good page is www.hmv.co.jp, there's a button somewhere for translating the page to English.

For the record both CDJapan and YesAsia is exactly as trustworthy, the two companies are huge and there's no way they would scam you.

If there would be defections on any of your CDs when they arrive it should be easy to get a new one from both CDJapan and YesAsia. I actually think it's simpler if it's from YesAsia, they're the ones I've had the most experience with.

I never had problems with YA

Delirium-Zer0 7th February 2007 06:26 PM

Me neither, except ONE cd - JUST ONE - that arrived with the prongs on the CD tray broken.

The only thing people tend to complain about with yesasia is stuff getting stuck in customs (which rarely happens, and at random - not YA's fault), and their stuff arriving with cracks in the jewel case and such. Just ask in the comments for extra bubble wrap and that should protect it okay.

I almost always get broken cases with YA, Secret, Kumi's Best SS which is kinda annoying so I prefer CDJapan.

The only time I ever got stuck in customs was when I ordered AT06 from CDJapan. Never happened with YA.

The only time a CD arrived with a crack for me was from YesAsia, it happened with 1 CD out of the like 30-40 I've gotten from there. What I did was the following:

1: Emailed them describing the damage, like explained in their customer support.
2: I got a reply that I should ship the CD back to them, and if they could confirm that the damage was the same as described I would get the following:
-A new item of the kind I sent in, in this case Ayumi's single Vogue.
-The shipping cost repaid, as long as it was sent by normal air mail (which in Sweden is the standard way of shipping anything overseas), it cost me $7 which I was refunded. If I remember correctly maybe those $7 was put in my YA account as YA Credit, which means I would get a $7 discount on any item I decide to buy in the future.

I lost nothing on it, except for the fact that it took me another 15 days before I saw my Vogue CD. I also learned that in the "Message" window for my order I will always put "please make sure to wrap the items in extra bubble wrapping because I've had trouble with broken jewel cases in the past" etc. etc. And they often did.

I prefer CDJapan to YA anyday.

CDJapan offers me the option of paying by cash and sending it via mail, which I feel far more comfortable doing than giving my credit card number, though I have done it before on CDJapan with no problems. And even though it might cost a little more, I always find that it's worth it, mainly because they tell me the date it'll get here and it comes here on the day they've told me...

Meanwhile, YA is still reliable... but whenever I order from them, my order somehow ALWAYS gets delayed by one to two weeks. =/ Plus there's no option of paying by cash, just by check or by credit card.

Amazon.com has been suggested to me, and for some of the things- it's okay. I mean, granted, I had to wait a whole month after the expected date because one of the shipments didn't have enough of the CD I ordered... and I had 3 other CDs with that order. I told them to just send me the ones they already had, and send me the one that was taking so long when they got it. But they were all like "No, we want you to be happy. We're going to send everything at once." ¬_¬ I wanted to strangle someone.

But yeah, my best experiences have come with CDJapan. ^^ Hope this helped.

I wish you luck and I hope you own a credit card, that will mean a lot less trouble for you.
