Ayumi in HK Arena Tour ... but Hk is Chinese..

You know how Ayu always has her MC sessions in her encore. She usually goes through it in Japanese, what is she going to do in HK, or Shanghai? I really hope she knows that not everyone will be able to undestand Japanese:S otherwise it might be embarassing...

Hazuki 7th March 2007 10:21 PM

Maybe she has a translator somewhere? :)

evolution7931 7th March 2007 10:22 PM

Maybe she'll do it in English.. I hope so

Dustie 7th March 2007 10:33 PM

Lol, she might actually. I've heard a lot of people in China in urban areas speak English quite well. Or she might just skip any speaking/MC parts during the Asian leg.

I actually think that's the most logical thing to do. Plus it'll help her improve :yes

ayu_fan929 7th March 2007 11:06 PM

Maybe it will all be rehearsed (i.e. there will be Chinese subs on the screens?)

LacusClyne 8th March 2007 10:42 AM

well, i guess she might do that in english, since she do know some simple english. but i suppose she will try to say a few verse of chinese too. :)

shippo 8th March 2007 11:52 AM

I do believe there will be a translator...

truehappiness 8th March 2007 11:56 AM

Well, I think she'll just talk in Japanese..

That's what happened when Morning Musume went to Hong Kong.. D:
It doesn't really matter, does it?

simple english? she has better english than [this is being coservatist] 60% of my school ... and i live in america ...

CHAS_AYU 8th March 2007 02:17 PM

I guess she will speak English for tours in HK and Shanghai.
Ayu's English is quite good as we saw in CNN interview.

And most Chinese know English. So she will probably use English in the MC sessions. I think she will still use Japanese. Or she will speak some Chinese!

AyuHamasaki01 8th March 2007 05:21 PM

ENGLISH, ENGLISH!!!
I hope so...

Ayumiko 8th March 2007 09:48 PM

ayu will probably speak mainly in japanese, and a bit in english and some chinese...like hi how are you, etc.

the mc is not just ayu speaking...so that means the band members and mostly yo-chan will speak too...so japanese will be more likely. Hopefully they will work it out with a translator or put translations on the screen. It would suck if she skip the whole mc part just because of the language problem. I will be very impressed if they speak mostly in english!

Raleigh 8th March 2007 11:51 PM

Maybe she'll put in a couple of Chinese words but mainly she'll speak Japanese though probably there will be Chinese translation on the screen as Ayumiko said.

Gedatsu 9th March 2007 12:32 AM

Agreed with Demure and Ayumiko. It would be unfair of her not to say SOMETHING in Chinese - she'll do it for her fans, if anything. But I seriously doubt she would do the rest in English.

nmskalmn 9th March 2007 03:29 AM

When Ayu went to Taiwan/Hong Kong before she said some greetings, etc in the local language. Of course she'll try to say at least a few words in Chinese on the tour MCs.

Surreal86 9th March 2007 04:22 AM

Even if she does try to say things in Chinese, its alot of words haha. If she does the whole thing trying to speak Chinese, Im sure it will take a hell of a long time, plus everyone would be lost. :P

alternarist 10th March 2007 09:05 AM

haha yes i was thinking that while ayu is talking, there will be translations on the screens. perhaps ayu has a script to memorise?? but i am sure ayu will speak a little bit of mandarin or english..

extepan 12th March 2007 04:10 PM

i think a more realistic option is her doing it in japanese, and a translator is available.

AyUmIXx 14th March 2007 01:40 PM

she's going to greet us with "CANTONESE"
i'm so sure of it!
