ARENA TOUR 2006 STEP you trick!

seriously. i have watched the bonus footage on the magic trick in disc 3 of the ARENA TOUR 2006! but i still dont get it!!!! how did the male and female dancers swap places so quickly!!! with the chains and all that.... can someone explain to me in words so that i can set my mind in peace???????? :D:D:D

AyuHamasaki01 17th March 2007 06:31 PM

yeah, I also wanna know!!! And I also want to know how the Ladies Night trick works (female dancers free themselves)...

shippo 18th March 2007 10:31 AM

Do u know that pole that stick all the chain together??

It is NOT A POLE... It is TWO POLES that joined together that can be opened easily so the one who get chained can easily free...

However, that's my theory... :p

AyuHamasaki01 18th March 2007 11:19 AM

Well, it's a theory...

Qt Mashi 18th March 2007 11:32 AM

i wonder how they got out soo quickly too~~

Kodayumi 18th March 2007 11:35 AM

teleported out ? :D

Dustie 18th March 2007 02:26 PM

Here's my theory:

http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/4...intrickfc9.jpg

1. The person in the chains has to bend knees and lower down to get out of the chain 'cage', use hands to hold the lower chain rings so that they don't get in the way.

2. Both people switch places - the first person holds the chain rings so that the other person can easily "put them on"; sleigh into the chain 'cage' from the bottom 'opening'.

3. The other person has to stand up to 'enter' the chain 'cage'

So basically its get down -> switch places -> stand up rountie.

It's alos possible that the pole can be in a way 'opened', as the chains are connected to opposite sides of the pole, so that the chain 'cage' is open and people can switch places, then close the pole like doors behind them.

Sim' 18th March 2007 02:42 PM

^ I don't think they had much time to exchange places in that way =/
The light switched off for like... 2-3 secondes ??

Since girls were standing near boyss, it's like that the chains that actually moved, not really the dancers...
Humm... Wondering about this trick =p

PS : Good explanation by the way, thanks for the drawing =)

I think I agree with shippo's theory. It makes the most sense to me that there is a second opening to the chains. XD Like one that can easily be detached. :3

chocopockymaster 18th March 2007 04:59 PM

Shippo's right, there are two poles in the back that simply open and close with the lever-thing that sticks out from the back.

alternarist 18th March 2007 05:21 PM

@Dustie: wow nice drawing + explanation!!! but i dont think its possible to squat, get out, wait for someone to get in and stand up within 3 seconds??

@chocopockymaster: really? i was thinking along the same line but just unsure about it cos the video in disc 3 of AT 2006 didnt show anything.... :P

jasonrey 18th March 2007 05:45 PM

if you guys watch closely, there is an upclose shot in the dvd which i will try to get the screen shot once i got back my dvd from my friend, that shows that actually it is 2 poles behind that can be opened easily.

chocopockymaster 18th March 2007 06:31 PM

^ Yep, that's how I knew.

AyuHamasaki01 18th March 2007 07:00 PM

wow, that's so cool!!! can't wait for the screenshot!!! (when does your DVD ships in?)

Sim' 18th March 2007 07:26 PM

Didn't understand anything on the DVD O.o

I wanted to take some caps, but caps of what? xDD
I didn't really have seen anything about the trick on the DVD3 =/
I saw the explication, but nothing came in my mind xD
They just show Ayu in chains, but that's the only thing O.o

[Oh yeah, there were some writings in Japanese...]

Dustie 19th March 2007 03:28 PM

I watched the clip from the third disc again and I think the guy is actually explaning how it works... he does seem to be saying something about the chains coming off from the pole, just that they are using a wooden stick for tryouts, not the actual thing...

shippo 19th March 2007 05:40 PM

I don't watch the making or what... But it's my guess... :D

Chibi_Venus 20th March 2007 10:26 PM

Either way, all of the performers have to move really fast!
