F.I.R is Faye, Ian, and Real.

FIR strikes me as particualry note worthy for their fresh music and beautiful PVs (wo men da ai was gorgeous)
As semingly "new" to the music scene they've been granting with a multitude of awards and the like.

I first heard their 1st Album in 2005 and I was blown away by its originality and beauty. (Intro 尋夢之途 captivated me. :laugh) since then its been love love love. I recently received that same album in the mail from YA (the only one they had was CD+VCD ver.) I wasn't too interested in the VCD at first (I just wanted the CD) but I was captivated by the softness of the booklet features. (I made scans)

Anway, I finally got around to watching the VCD which featured the PVs: Lydia, Fly Away, and Wo Men De Ai all three blew me away. I plan on buying their other two albums too, even though I didn't really enjoy Flight Tribe as much as I did the previous two albums.

So, we finally have a thread for FIR, a great Taiwanese band. Tell me your experiences with the band, what you like/dislike and just let the discussion begin.

Their first album totally blew me away; I loved every single track on it. I thought that Unlimited is their worse album yet. The tracks seemed very uninspired and everything. However, Flight Tribe is yet another good album from them, almost as good as their first. I love this album a lot!

I agree that Faye does have a really weak voice and her voice seems a lot weaker than when they first debuted. Nonetheless their music is still very awesome and I still very much enjoy their live performances!

I'm glad I found other fans. :) I never found Faye's voice particularly weak before, maybe its because her voice is so suited for the music that she makes. I do know that The Fairyland in Reality is the best album they've created. Unlimited isn't as good at all, but still better than Flight Tribe (in my opinion at least)

Whoa!! A thread for FIR!! I like their music very much! The first song I heard was Lydia. I was curious about them when I saw their debut album advertisement on TV and decided to try out. It's really awesome!

^really? that's awesome. I first heard FIR when I download from a Misc. C-pop download thread in 05 that was trashed this summer. I'll be greatful cause I was able to listen to both albums and burn them to CDs to listen to while we moved. that was nice. :)

who cares if they mimic D.A.I. ... i think they are more versatile..experimenting new things all the time..i wonder what their next album will be themed...

for me, debut album was GREAT! then the second album was rather ok...liked the idea of the continuation for "Our Love"...the main songs in the second album were nice..the others i cant remember..then FLIGHT TRIBE was another hit for me..thou sometimes it may sound a little nnoisy coz of all the instruments..but was very nice!

^Yup FIR really rocks!! They really tried many new things in their music, mixing here and there, which really makes them have their own style, different from other singers/bands.

Debut album is really great!! I think both second and third album are okay but they're great in their own ways. Especially the first track, Unlimited, on the second album. I really like that style of music.

I love, love their first two albums, but I didn't like Flight Tribe all that much.

I wonder when they're gonna release a new album. Flight Tribe took so much waiting, but it was definitely worth it!

By the way, do you all know that Real just released his debut album?

Nope. They will not disband. Just that Real wants to fulfill his own dreams, releasing an album full of his own compositions.
