Guy singing english in Kanariya
 

Uh, anybody have any idea what that guy is singing in english in Kanariya? I've looked everywhere for the lyrics, and all I ever find are her parts, never the guy's words.

i just realised that I actually removed the original version of kanariya off my itunes...yeah i really hate that song...even more so than the LOVE crap.

I think 'kanariya' is one of the most underrated Ayu-songs in her discography. It's one of her first 'good quality'-video clips and it's one of the first songs Ayu produced that wasn't a generic pop-song (back then, Ayu was just a regular Jpop-artist rather than the empress). kanariya is totally experimental and would be perfect for a 'jazz-remix'. And on top of that, Ayu sang the song perfectly, even though the song is extremely difficult.
I think the the difficulty of the song is the reason for Ayu not having sung it live. Which is a shame. She should try it once.
At any rate. Kanariya.. An important turningpoint in Ayu's career.

Just let me get this straight - you mean produced as in "released", right? Not produced like "Max Matsuura produces some of her tracks"? I'm leaning towards the first one, but I want to be 100% sure.

No, they meant 'released'. Ayu didn't 'produce' her first song until 'M' in late 2000.
