[2007] Who is the better dancer?
 

Namie Amuro or Koda Kumi? I think Namie is better, because she still sings so well while dancing :P

Koda Kumi! Namie looks at her feet too much while she's dancing.
That I've noticed anyway. Or maybe I'm just biased. :P

I say Namie, right now, her dancing not as exicitng as kumi's but before....it was really amazing :D.

I'd say Kuu.

Koda Kumi just has more energy in her dancing, she looks fierce. Namie always has just a blank expression on her face and her dancing is just about going thru the motions witouth any feeling, and it's kinda boring.

not to mention I feel namie's a bit stiff compared to Kuu who has more fluidity in her moves. not to mention Kuu can try out different types of dancing, her capoiera routines for FREAKY are cool.

kumi! Namie needs to show more emotions while dancing and she can become as good as kumi ^_^.

Kuu. I don't like how Namie's always expressionless.

Namie used to be such a great dancer she still is but you all must watch her tours you can't judge just from one music video or a live performance. Namie really steps up on her tours. Kumi's dancing is sexy and fun but not hard to do at all. I mean anyone can dance like Kumi, it's just all for show. I think Namie's dance move have more thought in it. They both have very different dance styles.

^i dunno...there are some moves in the hot stuff performances that seem pretty tough.

Namie - I love her dance moves Kuu is a good dancer too but Namie's better in my opinion ^^ Didn't Namie always walk to her Dance Acadamy when she was younger and it was like really faraway? anyone else hear this?

I've only seen Namie dancing live a few times but she is better than Kumi. When Ku dances she stops singing and lets the backing take over which I hate

Namie. Although Koda is great too and I do wish Namie had more emotion in her dancing. But from a dancers perspective myself, Namie has better technical skills as a dancer. And as others have stated, Namie's dancing on her tours is much better than her PVs or live tv performances for some reason. Although to really see Namie's skills it's better to watch her extremely early Super Monkey's stuff where she did more pirouetting and leaps, showing that she does have a very sound base as a dancer.

however the number one dancer for me is BoA, if you need proof watch her girls on top PV, shes amazing.

Yeah, definitely. BoA is at another level.

I would definitely have to say Namie. Kuu is a pretty good dancer, but it's usually less complicated dances than Namie's and she can't quite maintain her voice the same way Namie can while doing it.
