I've used them before - as long as they're not above 100k, I think that's the limit set here.

If the file size is not above 100k it should work. If it's not, the forum won't upload it and you can't use it.

FAQ:

Avatars:
Maximum file size: 110KB

Signatures:
Maximum file size: 150KB

If the gif is less than that, it should work.

^When I go to usercp, under Edit Avatar it says the limit is 100k at the bottom of the page, and that usually means it's the limit set on the forum.

oh yes!! see I wanted to use the animation of the "startin -making of-" but it's too big :cry

Maybe someone could crop it and resize it a bit so it could work? If not, you could add it to your signature instead.

Unless you seriously resize and compress it, you wont get it small enough, I'm afraid.

Can anyone tell me how to make a gif. Is there a hosting website like photobucket that puts you thru the process, or is it something like use of brackets. Thanks guyz
