How rare is AYU's IDOL Merch?

Well, I was curious to know how rare are Ayumi's "Idol" day merchandise. I know she has the photobook and video. Also are her Like Grains of Sand merchandise HTF? I'm wondering how many people here atually own the Idol photobook and video, and has anything surfaced on the net of the photobook~ scans?.

thanks all.

Her movies aren't hard to find, I believe most are still available...

Stuff from her idol days is pretty tough to find, particularly since it's a past that she apparently is not associating herself with anymore.
Magazines featuring her around '94-'95 pop up every so often in auctions. The original idol video is harder to find. I would say the rarest merchandise is probably the library & telecards that were offered as mail-in collector items.

Yeah, most but not all of her movies you can still find in stores. But everything else from her idol days is extremely rare. You can see some stuff go for insane prices on yahoo auctions.

Oh hey! Christina you're back!

I'm about to acquire an idol video through yahoo auctions, I got it for 3500yen. There's still another one on there for 3000yen. There was one that was the alternate cover, but it ended early and I friggin missed it. Lame! Haven't seen one since. Actually, I ran into two old magazines that featured her in random bookshops. One of em I got for 1500yen (1995) (punks actually realized it was Ayu and upped the price...) and the other for 400. The 400 one was issued post-debut (1999 I think) but has all idol pics. lol it was kind of funny, I'm in this little bookshop (the little ones invariably have a lot of gravure/nudity/porn), and I turn one way and there's a face staring back at me that was remarkably familiar...

Oh and here's another story. I was in Asakusa subway station and I look up...and I'm like...this isn't 1995...why is there a sumomomo subway poster looking at me...??? lol imma see if I can buy it, lest some fool just chucks it in the trash and replaces it with a shiny new koda poster...(that one was for you truehappiness haha). If it were to be there forever then I would leave it there for Ayu tourists to see but dude I doubt there's another one of these, and I'd hate to see it lost to the world forever :P.

I'm still in Japan btw :).
