Question about Ayu's past...
 

On wikipedia it says that Ayu grew up in a strict household but before it was edited it said that she grew up in a liberal household where she was expected to do what she wanted without her mother interfering? I just want to know which one is the truth.

I'm asuming it was a liberal household, mainly because its true that her mom was often working, so she didn;t have have time to really yell at her for anything. Also, her grandmother seemed to help her a lot with her pre-avex career in modeling and stuff ... so she semms pretty cool/laid back.

yeah, i'd go with liberal household as well. i've never heard of her growing up in a strict household other than on Wikipedia.

Yeah, it seems that her mommy didn't care about anything. She never praised ayu nor scolded(grammar?) her. I remember that she was told by her mommy to take the responsibility for everything she does.

Yeah. Ayumi once said that when Max asked to her to write her own lyrics, it was like "WHOAH!" because nobody had ever asked or expected anything of her ever before.

That's what I thought. I can't imagine Ayu as growing up with a strict mother [or grandmother]. Thanks!
