Should ayu do another Love PV??

After Voyage PV in 2002 and distance love in 2007, do u think she should do another love PV??

I personally think that it's fine, both PVs are really movie-like kind of feel...... But the acting skills could very much be improved......

And i think it would be great could if she could be starred in another love pv.... :)

Those kind of PVs aren't too bad for me, but I think she should wait a while until she does another one. For instance, Distance Love came out nearly five years after Voyage. I'm not saying that the next one after Distance Love should be in 2012, but I don't think she should release any sort of PV/short film in the near future.

I just realized: Distance Love was more Ayu's, while Voyage's PV was just the movie (Tsuki ni Shimizu) since Voyage was the "theme song" or whatever. I don't know how to word it, but you know what I'm trying to say?

In a nutshell: She shouldn't do another "short film PV" anytime soon; and if she does, please let it be later in the future.

I kind of hope that she wont make any of these in the future..

Voyage wasn't that bad, but Distant Love was just plain tacky and the storyline for it was overdone too many time. It was like watching a low budget asian drama. ><

And besides, if she were to make another one in the far future, I think she would be too "old" for it.

i don't really like PV with love theme...
i prefer a symbolic and meaningful PV

Voyage is one of my favorite songs, and i loved the PV/short movie so much...so i wouldnt mind it--as long as the song is amazing (like Voyage xD)

Exactly..:yes

( It doesn't mean that ayu's acting skill is mediocre..just that PV with love theme pales in comparison with a meaningful PV )

I don't want another distance love; I want a Voyage movie. The Voyage movie is, I think, beautiful. Storyline wise and etc. It's just...well short...of course, but very sweet.

prussian blue 3rd March 2008 07:42 AM

i think its enough for her to do some love theme again...

ruixiong89 3rd March 2008 07:48 AM

I think she can do short movies like Distance Love, but perhaps not as cheesy? Haha, I think she should really work with some short film directors to deliver more unique storylines.

yea true...the storyline of Distance Love is too predictable....i already guessed the ending when the song "fated" comes in...lol

LacusClyne 3rd March 2008 10:14 AM

'Voyage' is a pretty pv, but not 'Distance Love', it's plain, it will be better if that is an actual movie with lines, but this is just too simple, it fails to bring out the best of ayu.

alternarist 3rd March 2008 02:03 PM

i actually like Distance Love more than Voyage because the "glitter" part of Distance Love featured ayu and Shawn as a very sweet loving couple enjoying their happiness while "fated" featured ayu losing Shawn. it's kinda sad but very real.

i wouldnt say ayu should do another Love PV. but if she does it again, i wouldnt mind.

~ayu-cake~ 3rd March 2008 02:09 PM

I'm not sure.
I really like the concept of 'Voyage' and I thought it was a really nicely shot video.

Howrver I wasn't too impressed with 'Distance Love', it made me cringe way too much :/

ayu_fantasy 3rd March 2008 03:09 PM

Who's the male lead in voyage PV though??

elepop 3rd March 2008 04:09 PM

I'm not a big fan of "love" PVs. I found "Distance Love" tacky...

If she wants to make more "love" PVs, she should check the things Ai does. "Renai Shashin" is onw of the cutest, sweetest love PV, IMO. <3

ayu_fantasy 3rd March 2008 05:29 PM

yuP... And personally, I think that Distance love would be better off as a real movie....

The storyline is kind of expected... And the umbrella Scene thing.. (It's done many times).... I think distance love could be further developed..... Rather than just a PV... But I have to say that ayu is really beautiful in Glitter/fated.....

I think voyage have a very touching storyline..... And ayu's non-diva image with her minimal make-up in the mini-movie makes her fit very well into the role..... And the scene which soushin wipe of her tears makes me kind of touched...

Can anyone tell me who's that voyage guy???

HilaryDuffFanboy 3rd March 2008 11:38 PM

She should do PVs which convey stories and where she isn't the only main person in the PV.

Agree with you!

::

I think part of Me is a love PV and i love that PV :irked

Maybe she should collaborate with Takeshi kaneshiro (Cuz I liked him too!!)... that would be too cool.... Anyway, i think she suits to be Takeshi's gf.... except for the height difference.
