HANABi / Memorial Address q ~
 

Heyos, I have four short questions and I hope someone knows the answer! xP

1 - About who is HANABI (and ep II; which is about the same person, right)? I think her mother, because at AN03 she has a female dancer with HANABI EP II.

2 - Memorial address is about her dad, right? I'm almost 100% sure it is, but still...

3 - What is the male saying in the Memorial address intro?

4 - She has like a ton of "passed away relative" songs; teddy bear, Who..., etc. I'm wondering if there's a song like that that I don't know about. The ones I know are (correct me if I'm wrong please! :love):
1 - Who...: grandmother
2 - POWDER SNOW: grandmother (?)
3 - teddy bear: grandmother (?)
4 - Memorial address: father
5 - HANABI I ~ EP II: no clue, mother?
6 - untitled ~for her~: Nanaki (sp, something)
7 - HEAVEN: no clue

HANABI is a japanese for fireworks rite?

Isn't her mother still alive?

^Yes. It probably would have been big news in TV and newspapers if it had happened.

1 - "HANABI" and "HANABI ~episode II~" are about a past love.
2 - I'm not sure if ayu ever officially stated that "Memorial address" is about her father, but it's the most likely.
3 - "Sore de wa yoroshiku o-negai shimasu"
4 - "POWDER SNOW" actually didn't seem to me like a song about her granny, but who knows. (The part about not having regrets maybe also relates to her.)
"teddy bear" is about her father who left her at young age.
"HEAVEN" to me seems inspired by the storyline of "Shinobi" movie. ("HEAVEN" is the themesong of "Shinobi".)

I wonder for whom is "End Roll"
Sounds like father or grandmother ...

^The person in "End roll" is going on a journey with the most important person, so I guess it's about a past love as well.

POWDER SNOW is for her mother. I'm not so sure about this one. Her mother is still alive, so it's not about her passing away.

teddy bear is for her father. About how he left and give her a teddy bear as a replacement of him.

everfree is about the death of her grandmother.

1 - Oh, huh. I really thought it was about a dead beloved. Oh well, it must have been a really big love to get an Episode II.

adn about the man talking in MA, I remember Delirium_Zero our Human Ayumi Database extradoinare (who left a while ago) answered this question. It was asked before, I'll try to search the threads for it.

"HANABI ~episode II~" is the conclusion to "HANABI". And yeah, it seems to be an important person to her.

"sore de wa" means "so" or "then".
"yoroshiku o-negai shimasu" is difficult to translate. It depends on the context. You use it for example before you start work with someone. (If you've seen Music Station, they also say it to the artists and the artists back to the hosts.) It would be something like "Please treat me well" or maybe in the case of recording a song "Please give me your best"?
I'm sure someone else can describe it better.

3 - I wonder why that was put in the song.. Maybe her father used to say that to her or something? Though it has ~take 2~ in the title, so maybe they wanted to give it an actual "recording" feel.

^Yeah, I think it was for the recording/live feel. The intros of "girlish" and the "A BALLADS" version of "A Song for XX" also have similar intros.
