Thoughts on ASIA TOUR 2007 ~Tour of Secret~ DVD
 

I don't have my DVD yet, but some lucky people [like Hezt] at Ayuchina have their DVD and have taken some screencaps of the documentary portion.. and I'm sure that since most of us have seen the .asx previews, we know how the show is overall.. so.. yeah...

Thoughts thread time! Apparently during the Not yet transition, Ayu cries in the dressing room. D=!! [however she pulls it together afterwards.. :<]

And I watched the first preview, so I'll comment here. XD

LABYRINTH + evolution + UNITE! - OH MY GOD. Fantastic. It's like, honestly a grand entrance for a really grand concert. The dancers' costumes are superb and Ayu's "swing in the sky" combined with the ballad version of evolution's first verse/chorus... it's all just too perfect. UNITE sounds really good and in general, all of her vocals were incredibly crisp and clear. O_O~

1 LOVE + until that Day... - Very VERY crisp vocals and some awesome camera angles/lighting during the entire set. Simply breathtaking. I wonder how hard it wa for Ayu to train to sing/pole dance.. usually that's a Madonna thing.. XD

M + appears - Vocals are again, amazing, and the staging is well done with the flowers underneath the stage and the flower wreaths that the dancers hold. One wonders about this performance though and how it could be so clean and WOW.

I've yet to see the rest. I'm sure it's AMAZING. I want to know why she cried. :<!!!

Aww, Ayu's face looks so sad. I wonder why she cried. I'm still downloading the parts of the tour so I'll give my opinions on it later.

Ah...poor thing. I wanna know why she's crying...although for some reason I feel like a busybody or something.

Wow, that pic of her crying seriously breaks me heart. ;___; We can only wonder why she's crying... (I wonder if she just had a tiny breakdown.)

lol Those people over at AyuChina need to upload the DVD...I can wait to see the full concert (especially since I've already seen a lot of it), but I'd love to see the documentary parts!!

I've seen various pieces of the show over the past six months, and I downloaded the .asx previews that were released. I actually skimmed through it (with the exception of "evolution"), but I loved what I saw. Her voice sounded great, the outfits were great, the routines were amazing...I loved them. I honestly cannot wait to receive my DVD hopefully this next weekend...heh, I can't wait to sit down and just watch all of it, all the way through.

anyway i really wanna know what went wrong...she looks so sad n i feel really sorry for her...

now after looks at the rest of the pics,it made me think that maybe its because that the whole hat thing hurts her neck or wat so she cried?

maybe it was when she was in taipei when she hurt her ankle?? I don't know!! but it is heartbreaking!! Can't wait to buy the DVD!!!

So none of the Asian dates were performed yet [after she did the first two on 3/10 and 3/11, she went off to do Asian tour dates]~

interesting though, really really looking forward to watching this concert!

I've watched the first .asx preview! I really like it <333 But I still want to buy the DVD! XD



and um um um...as much as I like that on-stage pairing, can I just say either one of these?

a. "Ayu! You're too short for Shuya!"
b. "Shuya! You're too tall for Ayu!"

...Seriously, their height difference is just so obvious! At least the other dancers were okay. Just imagine the pain in Ayu's neck for having to look at his face the whole time during Appears. XD Am I the only one who noticed this? And is it just me or does it seem like he's getting a hell lot of time frames to himself?

EDIT: I just realised, whoa, even the band's outfits are sooo elaborate! Yocchan in a pirate hat! Enrique in a tophat! Peco and Princess finally have colours in their clothes! XD

WOW so can't wait to watch the whole thing...

documentary seems soooo interesting..

i dont think any of us here will have the DVD at least until 2 days later on wed. so... ??

I can't wait to log on to CDJapan and see 'Shipped' for the DVD~

Going by the clips, PECO is alot less annoying. Although I imagine she'll do something on the full DVD to counteract it though like doing the splits or rubbing a dancer's crotch.
