About iTunes ...

Are the songs Ayumi has released on iTunes USA still allowed to be posted here?

I know it has been going on for a while, but know she is taking the "global approach" and I'm not sure if anyone noticed it.

Are we still allowed to post/download them from AHS?

You know this is actually a good question, kind of. But some of her songs on iTunes have been up for a while and I haven't heard any mods say anything so I'm not so sure.

But then again, the other albums weren't "released", so to speak.

Hmm.. good question.

good question indeed.

but i reckon only physical CDs should be banned. i mean, itune has almost every songs in the world...

Indeed a good quesiton, but as Deneb said, I think it's only physical releases you can't upload.

I would think so. I mean, Hikki (...and the alike) has released her J-material on itunes USA. So, I say yes.

What you can do, Zachery!, is download normal Ayu-songs from internet (like Mediafire.. or whatever you like) and then... if you download the song then you open it in iTunes..
Make a playlist and copy the song to the playlist en you have Ayu on iTunes and your iPod!

I think she means: Download a song from the internet and save it somewhere on your comp. Then open iTunes and import the file into iTunes. And then copy it into one of your playlist on the iPod...

I know that! But Zachery was asking whether Ayumi downloads should be banned, since all of her stuff is released on the iTunes store. XD

i actually don't think this question has been addressed by "authorities" yet.

I think...we should be happy to continue posting them until someone has in legal documents that we cant.

this is a good question. this was not an issue when the current forum rules were created.

also different countries and regions iTunes offer different songs. Technically j-pop on iTunes is still not released by a RIAA affliate & might not be licensed the same way as US songs. probably comparable to importing?

it's all just my speculations tho.
