Ayu and innards reference in Super Gals!
 

In the third volume of Super Gals! one of the characters is at a competition and says she's going to imitate Ayu. She proceeds to say, "I'm Ayu and I love eating innards!"

Can someone tell me what the heck she's referencing to? O_o

Well i searched for innards on wiki and got redirected here;

Japanese often eat animal's organs. It's not strange. My husband likes eating a kind of "nabe" with animal organs. I just... can't. It's the texture that disgusts me. Here's a link to Wikipedia talking about a type of dish that Japanese enjoy, "horumon-yaki".

I don't know if Ayu likes that kind of food... so I'm not sure what the magazine was referring to.

I used to read Gals! and they referenced to her with her full name in the french version of the manga(first volume I think). The main character, Ran, she gets her nails done and her hair's blond with other colors, and her friends once said she looked like Ayumi Hamasaki.

I thought it was funny :3

"I'm Ayu and I love eating innards!" sounds soooo sig-worthy right about now... but I can't help but cringe at the idea of eating guts. Meep. I guess if it's tasty...? D:

In Absolute Boyfriend part 4 someone says something along the lines of "I knew he wasn't human he's to prefect. On the other hand Ayumi Hamasaki and Gackt are perfect too...)
And she's mentioned in the Kamikaze Novel too somewhere in the begining. I believe there it also has something to do with being perfect.
