Are all Ayu's albums available in Japan?

Well,my friend is going to Japan next 2 months and she said that she could buy every album I wanted from Ayu.
So I decided on all of them (yay, lucky me!) besides of GUILTY (because I already have it).

So the problem is that I don't know if CD shops in Japan still have her all albums (I mean from A Song for XX to Secret)...

So would there be any more copies available for me?:(

I would imagine so... :yes

Most likely. When I was in Japan last summer they had most of her albums at the stores I went to (HMV and Tower Records). There are multiple stores to look for them so I'm sure your friend won't have much trouble finding them.

Well, none of them are out of print so they should be able to. Sounds really expensive though. XD

Deneb 14th May 2008 11:11 PM

you should find every albums in store easily >_> :yes

great friend you have ^^ and yeah, music stores should have them, if they carry really old songs, then of course ayu's albums would be there~she's a classic ^^

Hazuki 15th May 2008 12:04 AM

Japanese albums in Japan are available like American albums in USA :)
No matter how old it is, you should be able to get it~!
Since Ayumi's albums aren't out of print,
your friend shouldn't have any problems finding them for you.
The only shops I know are Tsutaya and HMV.
Many smaller CD shops would have them, but all depends
on where your friend wants to shop~

all of her albums should be available .

If you do a search at HMV Japan , all of her albums are in stock & can be shipped within 24 hours

But from the looks of it someone has the money to buy them all at once and does not require the shipping =).
I wish my friends were as nice as your friend. I'm missing 4 for the collection!

Apparently, Ayu's albums are evrywhere here... I guess, i can still see some My Story to Secret albums on major CD shops here but you know, there are CD Shops every where and we also have these USED CD shops scattered. LOL... You can find them easily... :D

orochicloud 15th May 2008 03:52 AM

I'd suggest asking your friend to look around first at used store CD shops since you can find ayu's albums for as low as 200 yen! Its just a matter of looking around and being lucky.

extepan 15th May 2008 03:57 AM

YES, ayu still have a huge presence in cd shops. and if you go to second hand cd shops...(i cant remember the name of it, but there are two in shibuya and one in shinjuku) they have every cd you can imagine. i even bought 3 fly high singles, and 2 SETS of ayu-mi-x III excerpts there!

Melon Panda 15th May 2008 04:27 AM

With Ayumi as famous as she is, I'm sure all her albums will be available - even the old ones.

Ayumi_lover 15th May 2008 04:58 AM

i think they are available only in big shops)

Chiharo 15th May 2008 07:59 AM

WOW,that's awesome!
and btw. I'm paying for all the albums (I collected all money needed for them all).
But I'm not sure if price on the official site counts for the price in the shops?
(and thank you :D)

Calico 15th May 2008 08:04 AM

^Of course it may be a bit different. If you want them new I would suggest budgeting about 3000 yen (or 30 american dollars) for each CD - new CDs are really expensive in Japan. Of course older ones may have a dropped price, and of course used are much cheaper.

Deneb 15th May 2008 08:04 AM

most likely price the same as official website or hmv. getting your friend to buy just save you ALOT shipping fee >_> oh btw, maybe you can try 2nd hand stores if you don't mind :weep they are REALLY cheap :yes

Chiharo 15th May 2008 08:09 AM

Oh..ok then.
Thank you all for answering!
And you know - the most funny thing is that "my friend" is actually friend of my friend's mother, and the best part is I have never seen that girl:roflmao
But she said that she could get me anything and as much as I want from Japan and I was like :luv2

KuroixShiroi_Namida 15th May 2008 11:34 AM

You have a great family friend then :roflmao

I can't wait to go Japan too, gonna go nuts in those second hand stores!

no you're wrong on that

you only enjoy free shipping if you live in Japan & if you buy things from HMV Japan . HMV Japan will not charge you shipping if you purchase a certain amount from whatever you buy from them online provided if you're staying in Japan .

International shipping don't enjoy that perk unfortunately
