iPod 3rd Generation

Hey all! ^____^

Currently I own a 4GB pink iPod Nano 2nd Generation and I've had it for about 1 year.

Lately, I've been looking at the 8GB ipod Nano 3rd Generation. I'm interested in buying one, but I was wondering if there are any really big differences from the 2nd Gen, other than the size, the way it looks and the fact that is plays videos?

For those of you that currently have one, are you happy with it? Do you have any problems with it at all?

When you want to sync in videos, is it exactly like you do with the music? Through iTunes?

Thanks in advance!~

LOL. I thought you were talking about this ipod XDDDD. I was gonna go "YES I used to have one but why would you wanna buy that thing?"

I've used the 3rd Gen. Nano but I'm biased to regular ipods. I like the bigger HD(more ayu vids and concerts :luv2 ). However, it was really nice. I liked the layout, and videos looked just as good as they do on my regular ipod video. It just looks like a regular ipod that was cut in half horizontally instead of vertically(like the older nanos). It's just as thin as the older ones also.

I like the "Classic" iPods better. (Not really classic. Just the design)

The ones with liek, 160 Gigs.

Oh yeah.

OH YEAH.

those are awesome.
i prefer them over those crappy little probably easier-to-break small HS ones any day.

160 gb = awesomeness

Well I have the iPod touch!

Anyways, my friend has it and likes it a lot, I think. It comes with fun games too! The third generation resembles the iPod Classic more, so if you like that design, you'll like the third generation's design too. It also has a bigger variety of colors, but I don't think there are a ton more differences besides that.

I have the 3rd Generation iPod 8GB nano in black, and I find nothing wrong with it. It's my first Apple thing to purchase, and so far it's great. I just need to find a case for it soon before I get more scratches on the back.

One thing that HAS been bothering me is the earphones. They stop working properly on one ear after like 10 uses! I don't know if this is a problem between every one though, I think it is.

Your not wrong there! =D

I'm guessing the New Generation iPods will be announced sometime in September, so my suggestion would be to wait a little longer and see what Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) has up his sleeve! I suggest this because every year I sell my iPod and get the latest model.

LOL, I thought that was what the thread was about too. And I also have one of those, but it's broke and now I have an 30G iPod. :)

I've got the Ipod Touch and I love the device. Its such a versatile piece of hardware, I practically use it for everything. I kind of feel ripped off after Apple announced the Iphone 3G which is $100 less than my Ipod Touch. Lame.

I got iTouch 8Gb, and currently buying another one (also 8 Gb) for my dearest cousin

@ waynechriss: I heard that too. But something is really fishy about it. The 2nd gen iPhone comes with rumble and few more features. How come the price drops so significantly?

I have no idea, really. From what I've heard, the phone plan for the Iphone 3G is more expensive than its predecessor. Regardless of that, I could buy it without activating the phone plan and still get it for $100 cheaper than my Ipod Touch. If I don't see price drops for IT, then I'll be even more puzzled.
