umm who're they ? because CDJapan sent me an email message about their upcoming debut single release Ashiato .

Are they somehow related to GReeeeN or something ?

^I think it's in order to find them easier maybe? Like if you type "green" into google you get million of other things that aren't related to what you search. But if you type "GReeeeN"...

:yes bcos all the 4 members in GReeeeN all have graduated from dental school except for 1 of them

+ they want to keep their private & professional musician lives separate from each other so ya

GReeeeN has 4 e's which each represent a member of the band; BACK-ON has 5 people, and when you add in the producer JIN (who is the older brother of HIDE of GReeeeN and producer for both bands) you have 10 e's, which is the number of e's in the new band's name.

Essentially:

BAReeeeeeeeeeN = BACK-ON + GReeeeN + JIN

EDIT: Just to say that JIN appears in the PV! He is the guy with the mini-goatee and large sunglasses who walks past the main guy. With thanks to gangangan03 for the info.

Same here re: the single actually! I'm ordering mine through Play-asia but this generally means a wait of about a week. (Neuuu!) I only wish my Japanese was good enough to fully understand what was being sung though.

In the middle of the PV, where Teeda (from BACK-ON) starts rapping in English (2:17) he says something like "BACK-ON + G-R-e-e-e-e-N dou desu", but in the mp3 version that's running around on the net at the moment, it's just "B-A-R-eeeeeeeeee-N dou desu". Wonder which version will make the CD?
