10th Anniversary songs
 

So far, we've had 3 10th Anniversary versions of popular songs: YOU, Depend on You, and Who... . This December, we will be getting "LOVE ~Destiny~" and "TO BE".

My question to all of you is, "How do you think she will change it up this time?" This is considering we've had one totally redone (Depend on You), one revamped (YOU), and one with very slight changes (Who...). Do you think she'll change the instrumentation? Why or why not?

I honestly think it'll be "TO BE" that will be played around with, while "LOVE ~Destiny~" is gonna be the one to not get much changes, may be pitch deeper to fit her voice now, like how "YOU" was done. Very interesting song choices so far, that's for sure.

MY OTHER QUESTION: Do you think with this many songs, she'll release (either physically or digitally) a redone compilation that encompasses her career?

Which I think is a high possibility, at least digitally. As for the songs I'd like for her to redo, I'd like to hear: M, evolution, RAINBOW, and Memorial Address.

i realised that the 10th anniversary songs are songs from LOVEppears and before..

i dont think songs like M and SEASONS will be made into a 10th anniversary version (although i hope they do). re-mastered version of M in A Complete sounds so much different from the original already..

You forgot to metion that ayu re-sung all of them XDDD.

I think that TO BE will have different arrangement and LOVE ~Destiny~ more beats into it and of course both would be re-sung.

I expect Ayu to release her new 10th Full Album with Bonus Disk. The Bonus Disk may be all full of her 10th Annversary renewed songs. The tracklist I hope might be...

I hope she'll re-arrange TO BE. I love how it sounds, so I'm wondering if they could do any better than that. I'm not too fond of LOVE ~Destiny~, I don't even remember how it sounds like. o_o

So far, she released two ASFXX songs, and 2 LOVEppear songs on her singles, (excluding Who... which was on A COMPLETE) I wonder if there are any chances of her making 10th anniversary versions of songs from Duty next! I'd love to hear Scar and Key ~eternal tie~.

I think TO BE's instrumental will remain the same but with different vocal, while love ~destiny~'s instrumental and vocal will change.

I don't think ayu will release a redone complilation. They're not the highlights but only bonus songs in these singles, and they don't sound that amazing either, in fact (vocals aside) some sounded around the same as the original version i.e. YOU and Who...
Moreover releasing a redone complilation has a low chance of yielding high sales and thus IMO releasing a redone compilation is not a feasible choice.

I hope they change Love ~Destiny~ so it will be more appealing to me...

but TO BE is alreayd very nice already :)

1) By the time the 46th single's released, it's probably around end of 2009?
2) I think her voice has been about the same kind of pitch/tone since RAINBOW, like the vibratos and all...

And I do hope, like some others have suggested, that a special Disc 2 will be on the next studio album, with the 10th Anniversary songs...

And actually, I don't exactly suppose the 10th Anniversary songs are meant to show like "oh this song is gonna be totally new after 10 years!"; I think it's more like "This was Ayu's voice in 1998/1999/2000/2001, this is how it sounds like now in 2008/2009". You know, more deep, more vibrato, more strength.

I really hope LOVE~Destiny~ is completely redone from the ground up (lyrics being the same of course). The original is a fragile, delicate song, but it wouldn't fit Ayu now, she'd need to beef it up

She can do whatever she wants to LOVE~Destiny~ but TO BE is perfect already!

Ayu's voice on Who... its amazing, srsly but I was little disappointed that wasn't rearranged >_<''

Would be a little nosense if she resung those songs without rearranged them.

and maybe 'A Song for XX' too. because when i saw a-nation 08' i was blown away by ASFXX.

and from LOVEppears i want 'WHATEVER' and 'And Then' and maybe 'kanariya'.
But that's it.. i don't want her to re-sing any songs after LOVEppears..

Well, they kind of probably will, considering next year won't be her anniversary anymore...

I want to hear new versions of: Fly high, kanariya, monochrome, poker face and WHATEVER

Who... was special to commorate A COMPLETE

so whenever her new album comes she might make a bonus 10th anniversary track of a really signature non-single song from an album. Key? you get my drift
