These are great Deli, but couldn't they maybe all go in one thread?

Honestly I was kinda hoping for submissions from people x_X Not getting much of that.

But yeah, i suppose they can, if i'm only getting "thank yous" rather than, say, better photos of the posters.

Any mod wanna merge these?

I wish I got the JPN version of the cd. Back then online stores wasn't that popular, and I needed to ask my dad to buy it for me. He didn't buy Duty until 3 months later, and that store owner convinced him to buy HK version because it was cheaper, and he added, "besides, unless your son has a really good stereo, he can't hear the difference anywayz." Now I regret so much. To me, Duty is technically her best studio album to date. It's almost flawless...

Oh, and I remember the leopard woman image surfaced on the web in June I think (3 months before the release), and no one believed it would be the album cover (or concept).. Eventually it became true and most people were like, "why leopard??? so weird..."

That really was the time when ayu loved giving us surprising images...

I do remember that... everyone was like "omg no way too scandalous & sexy" and a few of the more sensible people recalled the LOVEppears cover for those folks... alot of people liked it though, but even they thought it was fake, saying "it doesn't look like ayu" and stuff.

MAN, that brings back memories. XD

OH totally! Many people thought it wasn't ayu. I looked at that small pic and knew it was her... But I was like, "why did she wear a black wig??" That was really the first time I saw her head black.

Ahh... those memories are great lol.

I also remember that since people didn't really scan CD covers yet, it was hard to find a big picture of the cover that wasn't just extracted from her official site (with the black fade on the side, and the sorta scan-line effect all over it) for a long time.

I love being able to reminisce with someone who was a fan back in the day, I have to take this moment to hug you! XD *hug*!!

Actually I think people did scan cd covers back in those days. But they treated like precious treasure and they did not let you getting them easily. There were several mp3 sites that provide decent larger covers tho.

Yeah... HUG :D. It's hard to find an older fan of ayu. Many of them are probly gone. Funny tho it's not hard to find an old hikki fan. I guess hikki doesn't change a lot (except her music directions), while ayu does change quite a bit from her early days. Hmmn, wonder how many members here started to like ayu between her debut and I am...?
