Joyyu... Joyyu... Joyyu... Meaning?????

I had wtched the documentary of CDL 07/08 and some vids about other documentary of CDL on other year. Everytime I watch it, why does Ayu say joyyu 3 times before the concert begins? It looks like she wants to encourage the staff. What is the actual things she said? btw, what's the meaning and for what? Joyyu is what I heard as I don't know the actual words.

Someone please tell me.

She says 女優 (joyuu), which means "actress".

Maybe she's telling girls in her staff to get ready to be actresses? Like to perform on stage?

i remember seeing it explained somewhere. i forgot where it was, but basicly it's ment to encourage them all to give their best. it's about being as an female star, and giving their best....
and something about Ayu hearing that from someone, i don't remember it quite well xD

I remember it first popping up around Arena Tour 2005; Go-mi was trying to encourage Ayu in her performance and was encouraging her to think like an actress (especially since that's when her concerts starting getting more 'theatrical', if you will). I think since then it's been a pretty big inside-joke for Ayu and her dancers/band, and the staff.

The best translation I've come across is "Diva, Diva, Diva". Like, we are stars and we are AWESOME. XD

It's probably the most accurate from what I've gathered. XD It's more playful than serious really, but... you gotta admit how much ayu loves bein' a diva. :P "Look at my sparkly things!!"

What chocopockymaster says basically sums it up. Gomi gives the same speech before Asia Tour 07 concerts telling everyone to think of yourself as an actress. Translations had it as

"gives more expression than what they have watch on TV. Please imagine yourself as an actress. Changing oneself into an actress is very important. So, let's turn to the right and shout 3 times"

the poor guys have to shout Joyu Joyu Joyu!!

XD looks like Go-mi has a big influence to ayu.
