Endless sorrow ~gone by the wind ver.~ vs. Where The Streets Have No Name
Does anyone else think that the GWTW version sounds soo much like WTSHNN by U2?
|
Yup, from the first time I heard it. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed :P
|
Cool :3
|
i haven't noticed.
Gonna go listen. lauren, you are just like...music encyclopedia lol oh this song... hmmm yeah it does...like a lot. But I think it was the style they were emulating. Wish it wasn't so exact lol oh well. |
^
Lauren? xD |
^the other person who's not you :laugh
<3 man how do you guys notice this stuff... I hardly ever ever listen to the gone with the wind version. I would have never ever heard one and thought of the other... |
Aha xD
|
Yeah, there's some simillarity. :bchuck Mostly the beggining of the verses and some of the instrumental solo parts.
Though "Where The Streets Have No Name" is by far a much more superior song :laugh (I'm comparing it to the gone with the wind version though, because that version of Endless sorrow isn't really THAT great....The original Endless sorrow rocks though ;)) |
LOL! certainly true, and I prefer U2's WTSHNN
|
I discovered this song this summer thanks to the duet Muse+The Edge in -glatonbury, I don't listen U2 really, (well, I'm far from perfection, I know =) but I listen Muse and revisiting the video, geez, how could I miss that!!

:O delirium's name is Lauren! :OOOO
|
OMG SCANDAL lol :) Yes, my name's Lauren. :P
I agree with Endless sorrow Original Mix > WTSHNN > Endless sorrow GWTW. Just to put that out there. |
