Maro Blog - About Gomi

I thought it would be interesting for those who could not read Japanese to translate this blog post.
It's by Maro, and it talks about Gomi, and also Maro.
We all have such a distinct opinion about Gomi,
Really weird, funny, and feminine type male.
But there is a lot we dont know about him,
And recently it appears like he wants to become a Calligraphy master,
And apparently Maro wants to be a philosopher LOL.
So here is Maro's most recent blog~

2009-01-21 02:17:46 maro-allok's post.
清水無大魚 / Large Fish No Fresh Water.
Theme: Serious Story.

This (the title) is the words of the teacher who is giving me assistance, Gomi-Sensei.

To tell you the truth, Gomi is
Now aiming to be a teacher of Calligraphy.

He is a calligraphy artist.

So cool.

As I thought, mastering the "Way" is something awesome.

This is something Gomi wrote a while ago in Kanji:

「清水無大魚」~I wonder if the kanji is correct?

It's like, "The Large Fish is not in the fresh water"

Wooooow, deep.

It feels like it has the meaning of a Large fish that was not raised in nice water.

Really, it's a fish that is not in beautiful water

(this part is really confusing to translate to english.. sorry.)
Well, there's a lot of interpretation that each person has respectively,
But, on the contrary, to the large fish,
If it is not captured in fresh water, then it is tame, maybe.

I also thought that.

Maybe it's the destruction of the ego/self...

Isn't it difficult???

Everything has a meaning according to various points of view.

This is difficult.(・ω・;A)sweat,sweat

(This is also hard to english.)
As a supplement,
The essential meaning cannot become important
With a heart that is too clean.

I haven't found a good way to write this.

----

I hope it isnt too annoying with this..
I know its not Ayumi blogs or so,
But since Ayumi wants us to know her team Ayu,
I thought it would be great for us to know her dancers like this..
Since I never thought Gomi would be calligraphy master,
Or Maro be sort like a philosopher.

Actually, Maro is very depressed a lot of the time..
One time, he wrote in his blog in which something like his life was very depressing.
He lost a friends recently too..

Anyways, I hope you wanna learn more about them too.
And I will try to continue to give this to you~ if you wanna it.

wow, the dancers get so much attention now. not that i'm complaining. ^-~

i can't tell if he's trying to be serious or funny... 0.o

I'd love hearing more about Ayu's dancers... they are, after all, part of her team. His blog post was so contemplative, though. I guess I never saw him as the serious type lol. Shows us there's more to a "dancer" than meets the eye.

Thanks for the translation!

I lol'd at this part:

"「清水無大魚」~I wonder if the kanji is correct?

It's like, "The Large Fish is not in the fresh water"

Wooooow, deep."

Do you have the link to his blog? I'd like to look at it~

Maro's blog.

Oh yeah,
I meant they died.
He wrote about one of them,
And how he wants to journey to meet that person soon.

It was really sad..

Actually, Maro is a really sad person... ._.)

maikaru 22nd January 2009 05:17 AM

But I should say he is also a very good family man..
He cares a lot about the children in his family,
And features them a lot in the blogs.
He seems like a good rolemodel.

Mama Go-mi gosh seems like Maro has a huge admiration for him ^^

I do 'read' Maro's blog... just viewing the photos, but I never know what he's talking about... and now that I know, well it's kind of sad actually... I hope he'll be happier under Ayu's influence. Ahaha

I'm not sure about kanji, but in Mandarin it reads like "There's no big fish in clean water ". Ergo, should he only grow (to be a big fish) when he confronts/lives through/survives problems (not so clean water ?)...

"Where's a linguist who's cunning when you need one ?"
Ms Moneypenny. (paraphrased)

erika_ayu 22nd January 2009 08:22 AM

of course its not annoying~~ :d
i love maro!! :love
but why do they all speak so deeply?? so hard to decipher...

alternarist 22nd January 2009 08:54 AM

i like it when ayu treat her dancers as one of her friends like that instead of treating them as a "subordinate" or "haha you work for me the diva"..

all her dancers/band members are famous!!

Emperatriz Ayumi 22nd January 2009 09:04 AM

Thanks for the translation!!! Now the dancers are receiving pretty much attention than before!! Thatīs cool!!!
