on ayu album's credit there's a name junko hirotani in b.g vocal.....

who is she.....

i never see her b4.....in ayu's live.....

i'm not yet watching all ayu's live tour....

is she ever be a b.g vocal in ayu concert.....??

n is she better than princess n peco...or is she worst than them.....

Well, I'm guessing she was just a one off for DUTY. She did background for the studio versions of:

DUTY, Scar, Far Away, SEASONS, and Key.

Judge for yourself whether she's better than Princess and Peco, but I think she's better, anyone is better than those. ;)

Hirotani did appear in more recent songs, too. Like "untitled ~for her~". She also did all (most?) background vocals for "A Song for XX".
She seems to have a nice, tender voice, judging from the songs she sang in. ^^

Hirotani also sang for other artists, like Gackt.

Really? I never look at album credits. That's pretty cool, I wish I could find information on her...

A little far from the topic i think. I think ayu also did background vocals in all of her albums but she didn't credit herself except in the album MY STORY. Why is that?

She calls herself CREA when composing, too....Why would you credit yourself twice? backings are just quiter vocals, so you dont have to credit twice

I agree that Hirotani has a better voice than peco or princess. I wld prefer her to be Ayu's bg vocal always!.

^ background vocalists for recordings are professionals trained for studio recordins, they usually dont appear for live performances, especially because they sing for TONS of artists

Live backing vocals are trained for being performers and to fix the main vocalist mistakes when they can, oversinging the main vocalist

So far, Junko Hirotani is known for singing CLAMP in Wonderland's music video theme song, it's a pretty good song.

i always wonder about her, from what i hear from the BG voice, she does sound like ayu!

I imagine her as one pretty girl too, judging from her pretty voice. =D

Ah her voice is lovely, but I guess that's why she isn't a backing singer, Peco and Princess have really loud voices so that they can oversing Ayu when they need to. I guess.
