anyway , I hope PUZZLE will do well in terms of sales . Seems there's not much competition this week , I wonder if it's possible it can outsell KJ2 or not

PUZZLE - I saw the scans for both editions & omg the limited's so cool , with the jigsaw puzzles & etc

a pity it wouldn't be sold here cos of the DVD :grumpy

Why aren't the DVD version sold in SG? That's so not cool. Ryo (and his wife Mishelle aka Yours truly) does not approve. :eviltongu

i hope KJ3 can surpass KJ2's sales. i think KJ3's much better overall. it's the strongest out of the KJ# series, IMHO ("Kansha ni Eight" is just golden, LOL). :D GO GO KANJANI8~

& LOL. after it took a year for thread #1 to pass to #2, i thought it would've taken another year, TBQH. :laugh but it's nice to see Eito finally moving here @ AHS. I'M SO PROUD. :weep

1) censorship board
2) DVD region code's different . In here it's 3 while in Japan it's 2 & some people might have problems playing the a region code 2 DVD (ie. if they're computer noobs)
3) no local distributor to bring in their items & that goes for KAT-TUN & ARASHI & Hey ! Say ! JUMP . Not for NEWS & KinKi Kids as theirs's Universal here

but it's mainly the 1st 2 reasons . If not for the censorship board , items with DVDs could be sold/imported freely here just like in Japan & Taiwan

My Taiwanese friend Cliff said that there's no censorship board in Taiwan at all , he was surprised when I told him about this

Is the album worth listening to? I'd download it and give them a try. I have to say I'm sort of embarrassed to listen to their music. Well the PV for Musekinin Hero and Wahaha were embarrassing to watch.

it's pretty weird since K8 releases crazy crack A-sides, but if you listen to their album tracks, it's more band-like. if you've listened to TOKIO, they're quite similar to them. :)

they started out as an enka/traditional group. but ever since "Sukiyanen, Osaka." they've had crazy songs as A-sides.

i think you should give the album a try. :yes

I was skeptical to listen to their discography initally but I went with an open mind & I wouldn't blame you because it's usually their singles that're so crazy

but their album tracks are something that will really changed your music perception on them & that happened to me

see this means you should never judge a band based on their singles alone

Musekinin Hero's the single that really changed my perception on the guys & that goes for my younger sister too . She doesn't like Wahaha though

Never heard TOKIO but I'll give it a try.

Okay I'll start from the first album. It's usually the singles that get me hooked to an artist though. But you're right.

i don't think it sounds like "Kemuri"...maybe another song, but i can't pinpoint it. :P "Kemuri" is more like an "Explosion" (b-side off "Zukkoke Otokomichi").

i second the notion for another "Osaka Rainy Blues". it's such a lovely ballad. :D

I can't help you when comes to TOKIO & SMAP since they're the only 2 Senpai's that I don't listen to

you should start from Kansha ni Eight as that's the only album that featured Uchi on vocals

took a listen to the other solos today. i absolutely love Yasuda's solo. & the whole album sounds better after a couple full-on listens.

WHAT KAREN. U HAVEN'T LISTENED TO TOKIO?! they're like KANJANI8 but...older. LOL. however, Nagase's 30 year brain is still that of a 15 year old. much worse than Yokoyama. xD
