How do you post pictures directly on the post? Also with the attachment feature how do you attach two files at once? Thanks.

U need to use this tag, for example [img] http://ahsforum.org/abc.jpg [/img] (without the spaces) to post pics directly on the post.

And its only one attachment per message, so u have to reply again if u want to put up more attachments.

Hm...so if I have a picture in My Documents how do I put it up? Do I use: [img]C:\My Documents\whatever[/img]?

no no that only worls if u have the website... if u wanna directly paste it, u need to upload it to some site and then copy the link of the image...

u only use teh C:\window..etc... if u wanna upload a pic and ppl dl it


i use angelfire and it works fine for me.. i dunno what other ppl use...

u muz upload the picture into a server.. n copy+paste the whole link of coz with the [IMG] thing

If u meant to upload something say a pic, directly from your hard disk to here in AHS AND to make the pic to show up without ppl having to click the attachment icon to see it, do this -

1. Upload your pic as an attachment, then post the message

2. You then need to find out the address of the attachment. To do that try this - You'll see at the bottom of your message a link to the attachment (that pic). Hover your mouse over the link and you'll see at the bottom of your browser the address of the attachment (if u use internet explorer). Make note of the end bit which is always something like "postid=117596"

3. Edit your message and type in http://www.ahsforum.org/forum/attach...?postid=117596 (without the spaces and replace 117596 with the number of your attachment, the one u made note of), click Save Changes and your pic will show up.

Okay thanks! I'll just try it out..

Just copy and paste the entire link and use the image tag. When you make a thread or reply above there are little buttons that say http:// (for links) @ (for email address) and IMG (for images) just click the one for images and paste the url.
