PCDL 08-09 DVD: Ayu’s Complexion

On the PCDL 08-09 DVD: during Ayu’s performance of HOPE Or PAIN/Over/SCAR, there appears to be a light spot on the upper portion of Ayu’s right breast. It doesn’t appear to be there when she wore a similar outfit during vogue and HONEY earlier in the show, or in other past performances over the last couple of years when she has worn outfits that show cleavage. Nor is it visible for the videos for Green, Rule or Curtain Call. But in those videos she appears to be wearing makeup on all exposed portions of her upper torso, particularly in GREEN, and probably to assist in covering up her tattoo in those videos.

My question is this:

Do you think this spot is part of Ayu’s complexion that she now covers up with makeup as she has and continues to do on occasion with her tattoo, and that somehow the makeup was smudged off in that area during that part of PCDL? I say now covers up because I'm guessing it would have to have appeared within the last year or two; it is definitely not there nor was she wearing makeup on that part of her body in, say, the video for GAME.

Or is the spot just a smudge or temporary mark itself? There are some frames when the spot does not appear at all, but I’m guessing that’s because they’re using frames from the previous night’s performance.

My question doesn’t really relate to Ayu’s breasts, if that’s how it appears; it relates to her complexion (so please don’t mock me). She seems to always have such a clear complexion, whether it's her arms, neck, etc. Obviously it's rare to see her face without makeup, but on such occasions she does seem to have a clear complexion there as well. Seeing the spot on her breast surprised me for someone seeming to have that same clear complexion earlier that same evening. And yes, I know about the spot that's always been on her left shoulder, which also seems to appear and disappear over the years.

LOL. I never thought it was actually a tattoo, but it did occur to me that would not be the best place for another tattoo. But then again, in my humble opinion, Ayu already has one tattoo too many.

I tried to take a picture and it didn't turn out very good. Sorry. Just another excuse for you to watch all those great ballads again to see what I'm talking about. LOL. I thought she did okay for those. SCAR is one of my favorite songs that I've never heard her sing live before.

Do you have the DVD, alternarist? I guess I'm assuming everyone has the DVD to check back on what I'm talking about if they don't know already. If not, I might have to post a picture after all, crappy though it may be.

Yes. It's barely visible in the picture but it's there and appears more prominently when viewed on the DVD. Any thoughts on what that dot could be?

BTW, thanks very much for posting the pictures.

looks like a birthmark to me, i wonder why it isnt covered up, they usually put makeup over all parts of the body that are visible for big artists so they dont shine too much xD

zyoeru 12th June 2009 04:54 PM

It looks just like a mole to me? :S

NintendoHTF1242 12th June 2009 04:55 PM

I feel like I've read a thread before with that same picture. People said that it's a light or something. But I dunno xD

Diana 12th June 2009 05:17 PM

Right breast? Isn't that a mole? lol Although there is light on her left breast.. and I think it's just light :)

AyUta 13th June 2009 04:16 AM

It looks like a birth mark.

Does that spot still show up in the performances after? (I would look, but I don't have the DVD or the concert downloaded @__@)

Delirium-Zer0 16th June 2009 01:22 AM

It could absolutely have come from UV exposure. I don't freckle alot in the sun, I don't have a freckly complexion, but I definitely have more individual freckles & spots now than I did as a small child. One on my shoulder didn't appear till I was 9 or 10, to this day it kinda startles me because i'm not expecting it to be there. XD

oh wow people get very suspicious of ayu

shes a human after all

Picaflor 7/4 16th June 2009 04:48 AM

anyone ever think that maybe its a freckle? >.> sheesh

Chibi_Venus 17th June 2009 11:07 PM

Yeah, I'm not bashing anybody in this thread, but it does get crazy how people overlook Ayu's appearance way too much. In general, really, not just this thread. There'll be a new picture out from TA or something and there's always that ONE fan that spots some spot of imperfection. lol

I'm not bashing you, caf2795. ;)

Dokiyo 20th June 2009 09:49 PM

Ok~ like everyone else has been saying~ its either a birthmark, or a mole~ but most likely, it probably is a mole~

I never said it was a "raised" mole. :P

Go look at any of my photos. I have lots of moles and not one is raised. xD
