For those that don't know, Tsutaya is one of the largest, if not the largest music/movie retailer in Japan.

Yay Ayu 4th place ^^

^Most interesting to me is she didn't place at all among men, but got #4 overall which means a lot of women voted for her.(or at least the female pollers in general outnumbered the male ones)

^ i know, i thought that was weird too, but i thought maybe it's cause japanese guys like cute girls better, like otsuka ai, but namie's at the top! she has a tougher look than ayu.

^ In general thats true. :) Most Japanese men prefer the non threatening Yui type so I was really surprised to see Namie as number one on their list - single mother and all.

interesting... maybe it's just me, but i never found Namie actually pretty; i guess she sort of has a girl-next-door look. but at least women seem to like Ayu's look! yay icons!

?? Most Tsutaya locations do sales. In fact, I don't know if I've ever seen one that doesn't do sales. Some don't do rentals though. :)
