When did Ayu start using the "A" symbol?

Hello,
This question is suddenly popping me out. Then, I get curious about it. When was it? And also, who is the creator of the "A" symbol?

I don't know if there's a thread about this before. I'm sorry for the second thread.

Thanks.

The "old" A symbol was used for A Single, the new A symbol as we know it now was first used for LOVEppears Album + appears Single

I think the A logo was inspired from the Pi number

The A for the A single is a combination of the first letters from trauma, Too Late, End roll, and monochrome.

The creators of the logo were rice+momoya, the design company or w/e that's done all of her design work since then..

I think it's under TYPE+LOGO.

Yeah, that makes more sense. I would have been really amazed if Ayu had made it by herself.

asmAyumi1992 3rd September 2009 09:31 AM

Ahhh. So the A symbol is not Ayu the one who made it. It's a bit sad to know that. but it's still alright.

Andrenekoi 3rd September 2009 08:06 PM

She is a singer, not a graphic designer xD

emi♡ 3rd September 2009 08:18 PM

Oh, I thought the logo was derived just from how she writes...then again...I've only seen her sign her name after the logo was already created...so...yeah.

Interesting...I think I heard that Trauma, Too late monochrome...whatever thing before though.
