Once again, this poll isn't about most selling albums in 2009, it's a poll about albums released in 2009 by most successful artists, no matter if the albums they released this year were popular or not. Once again, I'm sorry about artists I missed, because I can't know all of them. The artists who should have been here are probably SPEED, Miki Imai, Dream, Fukuyama Masaharu, Kobukuro, Chage and Aska... but I missed them, live with it :P And yes, Magic is on the poll, because it's...B'z obviously.

I hate when people make polls like these because they usually end up leaving off very successful artists/groups that aren't popular overseas/in the west, regardless of the fact that they're very popular in Japan/Asia. Like there's also a HUGE lack of Korean artists here... where I probably would have voted for a Korean album because I just didn't find many of the Japanese albums up to par this year.

So from this list... I'd have to pick NEXT LEVEL, even though it's my least favorite Ayu album and I hardly like it. :/

These albums were amazing. :heart "NEXT LEVEL" was one of Ayu's weakest, in my opinion, so it doesn't get my vote. And "TRICK" was just a huge disappointment. "BEST&USA" would've got my vote if it hadn't been for the BEST half. xD I don't like BoA's Japanese songs (minus a few) but I love her English album so much.

And G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker" was missing off the list or that would've got my vote too! :heart

honestly...I didn't really care for any of the albums that came out this year lol

Man 09 was not my year lol

NEXT LEVEL is just :heart, even with just 10 full songs and 4 interludes it's still miles ahead of most of the j-pop album releases this year.
⊿ isn't amazing or anything but I enjoyed it more than a lot of other albums released this year.

yeah... 09 was not a good year for japanese music, for me either.

i do love my TRICK though. :heart
