how can I get the subtitle into the video ?

PinkShinigami 17th January 2010 03:35 PM

^ I don't have the video or subtitles, but if it's as normal, open the video in VLC and pick Video > Subtitles Track > Open file > chose the subtitles

:yes

^ is it possible that the VLC version 1.0.1 is bugy ?

PinkShinigami 17th January 2010 07:10 PM

^ Well.. my friends who uses it doesn't have any problems, but when I take screencaps, it's weird colors.. so I guess it's somehow possible XD

Sollte jetzt funzen, zumindestens bei mir funzt es, ich benutze MPC + VobSub

PinkShinigami 18th January 2010 12:19 AM

^ You know, you should really keep it in english, for other people not understanding German.. XD

But well, I did, but I didn't get it - can MPC play subs? O.o

1. Download & install DirectVobSub (Google it).
2. Rename so that both files have exact same name, and place them into same directory. E.g. "NTV Documentary 2004.avi" and "NTV Documentary 2004.srt".
3. Play with whatever player you please. Windows Media Player is OK. The subtitles will show up automatically.
