ayu featured in Mao Asada documentary
 

it's a known fact that Mao Asada is a huge ayu fan and remember all the articles and news about ayu presenting her with a signed copy of the "You were... / BALLAD" single as encouragement for the Olympics? well, i'm not sure if anyone has seen this yet but there is a documentary thing on Mao, with a short clip of her listening to/skating to ayu's song "NEXT LEVEL".

Mao is talking about how ayu uses the phrase 「動き出す」 which means like "to start moving" or "to get going". she uses that as her push. in the morning, she always starts with that and by hearing that phrase, the thinks "oh! i better get going!" and it helps her to start off her practice sessions well. ^^

That's really really sweet! I guess where I am I can't appreciate something like this as much, but when I do see figure skating in footage I think it's so beautiful. With NEXT LEVEL in the background and watching her skate it was a great feeling, like that song is really freeing and suited her actions perfectly. Ahh this actually made my night.

omg I almost cried when the song started...its sooo moving...to think that the third greatest figure skater in the WORLD is an ayumi hamasaki fan (genuine fan ) that makes me soooo happy.
