Am I the only Ayu fan who doesn't really care for a new single? It would be nice and I would 100% get it, but I'm not looking forward to it per say. I must be a stupid fan who doesn't make sense. ^_^

Just be careul with your choice of words (excuses vs reasons). Some excuses could be actual reasons. I mean it's kinda wierd to say that "Ayu being on an Asia Tour is just an excuse for her to not release many singles this year." Doing something else is a good reason to not do another thing. I can also say "Ayu doesn't want to release a single this summer." That's just a reason (she doesn't want to) and can hardly be viewed as an excuse.
But I do think "she needing a break" CAN be an excuse, especially since I don't know her lifestyle and personal life. For all I know, she has taken a lot of breaks already. (even though it may be an actual reason in reality)
Or "she broken up with her boyfriend" can also be an excuse since for all we know, she recovered and got over with it completely. (again it might actually be true, I do doubt this tho)
Also saying "she is busy traveling doing photoshoots" can be a reason. For one thing, it's what she does, and you can't be in two places in one time, stating the obvious. Or maybe, "she rather wait for a later date for a new single" can be a reason as well.
So we really don't know if certain things are really an excuses or reasons.
Also, I think she still has passion and cares a lot. I also don't think she cares that it is her 10th anniversary, but I do think she just cares about her fans and of coarse the people she knows. I personally don't care about the year number and that she would do anything special to it, but I do care that she always does her best. And as an Ayu fan, that the main thing I care about now, I want her to do what she wants and do it good. I used to expect a lot more, but I found it unnecessary and I found myself being more selfish for no good reason.
A lot of this is just speculation. So yeah, I could be completely wrong.
