I think "... tte yoku kangaete nakute" is more like "saying ... without really thinking about it". She just casually said 'see you later' but then suddenly realized the importance of being able to say that.
Something like this:
Right after I said "See you tomorrow"
Without a thought, and with a smile
I realized how you were there
Saying "See you tomorrow" for me
And this is just a little nitpick, but it says "君の哀しみごと抱きしめるよ"; I think it's more like "I will embrace you and your sorrow", "I'll embrace you, your sorrow included". It's difficult to translate prettily though XD
