What helped me fall in love with her back when i discovered her was her lyrics and how i would relate to them. It was the first time i found someone i felt was telling my lifestory in her lyrics ♥ (even though i was super young), and i do relate to a loooooot of them and know their entire translation.
At that time, the first ayu song that made cry was
rainy day because the lyrics told a story that happened to me, it was like six years ago, once in middle school when i was in a bad time of my life with suicidal thoughts i once stood alone under the pouring rain whilst laughing groups of friends would walk by me without even acknowledging my existence. At the end of the song ayu talks about a person joining her and them starting a journey together while the rain starts to stop, to me Ayu was this person
